You made a mistake. You did not deploy the sdkfz 7/1. They could have been sufficient in detering planes and ground troops.

7/1's don't last long against mortars, but I would have brought them in as well. I think poor Vulcan was so busy, he didn't even see them on his deck.

@@tommyboy054, On thing that I have used with anti-air units, to queue up a lot of attack move orders. Like back and forth, behind the lines. That way, they are moving till they see planes to shoot at.

Due to their precision, the Stukkas with the 250kg are fantastic at dealing with motor crews. They also have an advantageous turn-around time.

500kg is more reliable though.

Certainly, while the 250’s will delete a mortar crew on a direct strike, they won’t necessarily kill a healthy howitzer. A 500kg has a far better chance at that, increasing its versatility.

Were there 3 anti-air vehicles in the Stug battalion? The card looked like one of the 20mm flak trucks... Those would have helped with the bombers, and absolutely wrecked the infantry.

OK, 2 comments: - you could so easily destroy this deployed AA Btn on the North... - I wonder why you didn't use these few AA trucks from Stabskompanie of StuG Btn... :)

I think I just overlooked the AA in the Stug Battalion honestly, and taking out AA pieces with infantry is harder than you think unless I cheese and auto resolve it.

I don't even play this game, but it annoys me to death that the ai just always knows where to bomb and mortar your units. This is just fucking frustrating to watch.

4:40 I can understand why you did what you did, but why not arty the people behind them instead, and then assault the 30th guards instead? or am I not understand how the game allows the nearby battalions to be chosen for reinforcement?

There was no point targeting any of the others since they all had 0 action points anyway and targeting the one I did stops them initiating battle onto the two currently digging in battalions.

I hate how the AI is programmed with X ray vission + heats signatures and dopple radar to find your hidden mg's. Its really ret a r ded and annoying

You didn't deploy the sdkfz's at your disposal or JU 87 bombers for clumps of enemy infantry even when you had the points to buy them relying solely on the ground attack versionl. I think that was your worst performance I've ever watched, sorry.

Overlooked the AA and just got lazy. Doesn't make much of a difference to the frontline though at the end of the day.

Granted, and you did redeem yourself in the following battles. Put that one down to combat fatigue.
