The singing voice for Wahlberg's character was provided by Steelheart frontman Miljenko Matijevic. My guitar Teacher Chris R (lead guitarist) and great friend (drummer) of Steelheart John Fowler where introduced to each other by me. they did rehursals in Norwalk CT to which I attended many during their early career. Sadly John passed away and Chris has suffered a stroke and cannot play guitar anymore.

Know most of the songs on this soundtrack are steelheart songs and most of it is steelheart vocalist on most of the soundtrack ..stand up and shout waa sammy hager song off a solo album .amd other songs are sang by jeff scott soto ..but the title track we all die young waa alreasy steelheart tune prior to this movie
It’s funny cuz a lot of these songs are seriously drop tuned. I’m pretty sure zakk had just dropped counterfeit god during this time, which was tuned in Drop G. Gotta give the man credit he created an 80s metal sound with early 00’s production and modern day structuring.
