Why steel is more elastic than rubber? is one of the most general misconception which every science student has. The young's modulus stated that the higher the stress in body is required for minimum strain i.e to change its body shape in lengthwise the higher the elasticity will be. But why the rubber ball jumps or bounce more than steel ball? This is because when the object is collided with another surface, surface molecules get deformed or displaced which cause lower bounce if displacement or deformation will be higher. steel will bounce most as it will fall on the elastic surface like steel. Due to elastic collision. #shorts #science #physics #experiment #education @CONCEPTUALGURUJI
