I used to do natural bodybuilding and loved it. Got sucked into the powerlifting and minimalist barbell training hype and got injured. I’ve been recovering with kettlebells, so I love kettlebells. However, my Shoulderök has quickly become my favorite implement to train with. My poor kettlebell is getting dusty, and my disassembled squat rack has grown roots in the shed corner. 😂 I’m probably going to buy an Adex club next! Swing implements are so fun and addictive!
Lots of ideas in this video, the traction effect, the older people idea, keeping upper body strong without bulking, using as ancillary training to counter compression of traditional training. Could explore some of these in more detail in your new beach vids !!
I have your adjustable club and spacers. I have yet to see a video explaining the positioning of the spacers and steel plates. (Similarly, Kettlebell Kings adjustable kettlebell didn't go into those details either) The positioning of the plates and spacers changes the center of gravity and the 'Feel" of the devices when swinging them. Thank you.
I felt this way until training with a mace and now realize the importance of the club to keep things loose. I feel that they work very well in conjunction with one another not one versus the other.
Being American made, the quality alone is worth the cost, above the economics of the expense of purchasing individual clubs that offer the weight range of a single Adex Club.
Hi thank you for this really useful video, I would like to ask you some questions so that I can follow up and get started. I am an almost 64 year old man would you suggest that I start with a club or a mace. What respective weights would you suggest for an absolute beginner? Are Alex clubs and maces available in theUK? Thanks, Derek..
The video was a generalization of maces and clubs regarding any brand of these tools, not just a commercial for Adex products. Our channel does have a video showing the adjustable feature.
