Love the arena rock endings that go forever!! I remember when 80's metal bands almost did go that long. I especially like it when Satchel is winded at the end and needs a moment and he holds up the one finger, priceless. These guys are hilarious!! And I love the drummer looking at the camera as if to say, I don't know why we're going so long on this ending!!! Classic stuff. I wish they would clean it up a though and make it more accessible. But whatever.
I just discovered this band like three days ago and I can't stop listening to them. I've already bought both their albums and their DVD. This is satire taken to a whole new level. It's brilliant, it's amazing, and the music is great. I'm telling everyone I know about these guys. They deserve a ton of success. Please continue doing this for a long, long time, Steel Panther.
nothing about these guys is a joke, they are all legit at what they do. If these guys were live in 1986 they would be one of the biggest bands in the world. NO BOUBT
yes, they lie in their interviews. Satchel and Lexxi are two characters, they don't reflect the personalities of the actual men at all. Both those guys have been playing in cover bands for almost twenty years now.
Their music is done as a spoof of the 80s metal scene, but they are going to be huge if they can continue to write songs as catchy as the entire Feel the Steel CD is. Fat Girl has me holding on to my guts with laughter, yet after listening to it twice, I remember all the lyrics. Great band!!
God, I was there! I lined up to get a first row at 8am that day and managed to get the first row in front of Lexxi. They played from 11:15am. It was so crowded, they performed in front of 15,000 crowds and totally kicked ass! Probably the best act among the other bands that performed that day! I loooooove Steel Panter sooo much!
I was at loud park festival and somehow missed you guys! It was a two day concert and in my defense, I was not aware of them at the time. Two stages and band starting directly after band. It was a trip moving from stage to stage
