Steel Panther’s “Tomorrow Night” from their second studio album “Balls Out” released in 2011. Fun tune from a great party band. These are master musicians that really know how to capture that 80’s metal sound and give it a modern twist. All tones are coming from a Fractal Audio Axe Fx3 Mk2. I used a backing track I created by removing all guitars from the original recording and then added my takes of all guitars. The main guitar is double tracked and panned hard left and right to give it that big sound using a custom preset based on a 5153 50w Blue channel amp and a custom shot 5153 IR. The solo and fills are a stereo guitar track coming from the Axe FX. Very little post processing was done to the guitar tracks in the DAW (Reaper). Mastering was done with Izotope Ozone 9
