From their ground-breaking 4th album, “True Democracy” (1982) which merged their Political message with highly harmonic danceable rhythms; Steel Pulse had finally arrived and started to make inroads beyond England and U.K. and become known in America. (In Mexico City for me and my friends whom were from all over Europe, Latin America and the USA; )Steel Pulse became the band to play at parties and beyond the perimeter.
40 years later, the vibe carries on and we are still joyous at their continued presence.
