I have to wonder where you are and why you have developed such a definative opinion on melee weapons. In America it might mean that you go to Renaissance fairs and dress up like Bilbo Baggins or Gandolf, but when you write such a comment in Cyrillic, we Americans think you might have some practical experience in such devices. We don't really think of such weapons as weapons because we just carry pistols.
My Step-Dad used to have speakers in birdhouses hooked to a cd player that was playing the mating call of some rare bird he was hoping to see, but after he went to sleep, my friend and I would put in Dark Side of the Moon, and then Wish You Were Here, and sit in the backyard and the high-up speakers made it sound like Pink Floyd was coming from the sky. I admit we were under of the influence of something most of the time, so it seemed extra amazing, but we did it sober a bunch of times as well, and it was still fantastic.
If you learn how to throw a line against the wind from a boat, you wont need that heavy center ball. Making the knot without the lead makes it safe for those trying to catch the line.

@@DRPowellOr just buy raw lead. It's not a forbidden commodity. I've bought rolls of lead sheet at roofing supply companies, but you can also buy lead ingots from plumbing supply companies. Either is cheaper than buying it in a package that has already been formed into some particular shape.

Lead doesn’t magically poison you when you’re in the same room as it. Don’t eat it. Don’t heat it to 900°f and inhale the fumes. Ta Da! You’re fine. (There’s a difference between metallic lead and organic lead compounds, stay away from the latter)
I used to make money fists all the time. I worked maratime then I started making paracord stuff before I got hurt at work. It’s easier to just buy steel ball bearings.
I made a monkey fist “necklace “ with a 1oz lead ball core about 8 years ago for my dad who works in the hospital and isn’t supposed to have weapons. I got the 1oz lead ball from a 12g defensive shotgun shell I have made by Herters. It’s actually a 2 ball round so the full load is 2oz split into 2 1oz lead balls that are about .70 round. They are supposed to be traveling at about 1,450fps and I believe it. The recoil is absolutely disgusting which is probably why I was willing to cut one up to make a couple monkey fists 😂
Done this in the sea cadets as a teen in Scotland just without the lead weight . Its to shoot a line over to a ship at sea for supplies or shoot a mooring line this is ligher than the actual mooring line or supply line hence the lead weight. Hope you have a nice day 😊 😊😊😊
This is completely impossible. Steel doesn’t melt until about 1400 *C (about 2500 *F). That burner doesn’t have the heat potential to melt the steel. I am studying this in college ( metallurgical engineering, so I know my stuff).
My mom had a Monkeys Fist confiscated back in the 70s after breaking someones shoulder with it. It was a steele ball in a leather pouch with a braided tail all leather.
I hate to be "that guy", but I used to work on ships, and using a weighted monkey's fist to throw your lines ashore will get you in a lot of trouble in some countries. Just make it properly, and get better at throwing.
