Gesture may be more adjustable, but leap is overall more comfortable for my body. So more expensive is not always better. You should tey both to see which one works better for you.
@@mikegurv1818 which one feels like a rock? And which one did you end up getting? I bought both. Both have strength and weakness...so don't know which is better at this point.
@@IronCan88 I bought Gesture. I thought of sending it back but grew to like it. The seat is firm with very little cushion but no longer uncomfortable. Everything else is top notch. If seat support and cushion is the most important thing then go for a high-end Miller mesh chair.
Watching the video here but it constantly sounds like you're blowing into the microphone or something, maybe a pop filter or lower gain level would help and also sounds like you're not using a cardioid pattern as the audio isn't coming central into my headphones but off to one side
@@VictorTan Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. The video was very informative though and I think I'm probably going to get a leap v2 soon, can't try in person but tried to do as much research as I can online from several sources
@@Stallzyx Haha no probs man! Was talking to a commenter in another video and found this chat - hope the video helped you out somehow!! Thanks for watching and glad that you enjoyed it, sound issues aside ^^ May the Leap support your back well for many years to come!
bought my gesture in 2017.. and just traded it for leap v2 last week.. gesture's arm rest is good, but the lumbar support is poor. i think leap v2 is just nice
@@Scott-dn1bk I like mine, and I was worried because it seemed to have dimensions better for someone taller than me. I have four studios in my home, streaming, podcast, lightboard room, etc. I find myself most often on the Gesture, so at least subconsciously, it works. However, is it a good value? I feel it is about $400-500 overpriced, and wonder what a few of the all leather, $1000 Ergo chairs might have been like. Certainly, better looking!
Bought Gesture a few days ago. The seat is less comfortable than $300 chair I just threw away after 10 years. Yes, its adjustable and well built, but...my rear end hurts after seating for 15 minutes on this chair. It's going back. Of course some people like a firm seat but nobody likes to feel like they are sitting on metal after spending $1500.
Omg classic yo! Lots of parents think that this kind of thing is a waste of money only coz they didn't spend a lot of time sitting or maybe like they think that it's more important to have the discipline to sit up. That's where "AH BOY AH YOU BETTER SIT UP STRAIGHT OTHERWISE LATER YOU END UP CROOKED LIKE (insert name of unfortunate person whose back is crooked)" comes from. I totally get it tho - a lot of times parents think discipline is really the most important thing that every good outcome (like having no back pain) is the result of willpower and training. It's probably not true when it comes to the question of sitting right though, especially if you're sitting in a terrible chair @_@
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I definitely find the Leap to be the more classic and better looking chair, especially with the rounder/tub-like profile and polished steel back vs. the plastic frame of the gesture.
Hey man! Thanks for watching! :D You wanna try to pick them up from ELY probably! You can call Francis @ 0129259688 and pick up from the ELY showroom - remember to use the discount codes! VR100LG for Leap and Gesture, and VR050TS for Think and Series2 :)
Hey thanks for watching, Armin! So glad you enjoyed it - Appreciate your kind words, and hope the video helped you out a bit! Both Leap and Gesture are incredible chairs :D
Awww thank you kids! 😭 Love y’all too! Hope everyone is having a swell Friday night and thank you so much for watching! I’ll be releasing another one shortly!
@@xboxgamerz22 Hey Yad! I'd say that you should go with the Gesture :) The Leap will work as well though! They're both comfortable and will keep you seated in an ergonomic position for a long, long time to come :)
@@VictorTan I was thinking gesture as well because I had amia and look similar to leap but the feature gesture have is cool but problem is this furniture store only have it as color yellow for $400 which is not bad but if I want a different color would be like $500 and I bought amia for $178 which was a good deal but still is so tricky.
