I liked this team more than the SB team. Ray Lewis was healthier. Ed Reed wasn't missing as many tackles. I'll always wonder what if Joe was 3-1 in Foxborough in the playoffs with back-to-back SB MVPs.
SHOULD HAVE.....except for "2 things": Billy Cundiff and Lee Evans. Best thing in 2012 was having Justin Tucker come here as a walk-on FA and show enough leg that Harbs felt good enough to get rid of Cundiff.
Brain Over Brawn And get rid of Joe Hortiz, director of college scouting. The drafting has sucked since Hortiz took over that position. They need to overhaul the entire scouting department.
Ray Rice was a good and fast running back. It’s a shame he had to do that to his girlfriend. I miss this Ravens team. The team that shellacked the PISSBURGH SQUEELERS.
Lewis 970 Benard was made to be a Raven I think the main reason was his age,he was a liability in coverage and he had a bad relationship wit coach Harbs
Lewis 970 They dumped Pollard because during the SB he blew a lot of his assignments. He did well enough during the Broncos and Pats games, but his FU's during the SB (as well as his overly aggressive playing style, where the Ravens could see the league changing in the future to the NFFL (National Flag Football League)) are what really did it.
Agreed Bernie pollard was made to be a raven one the the most intimidating safeties to ever play they didn't call him bonecrusher for no reason one of my all time favorite Ravens
Does anyone have a copy of any of the games below from the 2008 season? I have fond memories of being in first grade and watching these games. I can't find the games anywhere online, and I would really love to see them again. Titans @ Ravens 2008 Week 5 Ravens @ Colts 2008 Week 6 Ravens @ Texans 2008 Week 10 I'll pay if necessary!
@@denisjohnson8198 The Greatest Ravens team not to win a Super Bowl was the 2019 team. Even though they got curbstomped by Tennessee in the playoffs, they were the best Regular Season Ravens club.
I love when the Ravens play the Steelers. I just hate when we lose. I wish every game we play them we smash them just like this but this wasn't my favorite Steeler win. The wild card playoff game of 2014 in Pittsburgh was my fav
As a Baltimore fan this game reminded me of the 1977 game between Baltimore-Pittsburgh. The Colts got throttled in the 76 playoffs by the Steelers & they came out w/fury in their eyes. They went up 24-0 & coasted home. After the game Terry Bradshaw said, "wasn't anybody beating that team today."
Man what memories this brings back. I remember being so excited this game, seeing the offense flourishing against the SQUEELERS...little did I know how "speedster" Lee Evans and Cundiff would ruin my life only 4 months later...
Most of the games in this rivalry were very close but there were a few beat downs by both teams......this was definitely one of them. Regardless, when these teams played back then, the Steelers won more than they lost against the Ravens
During the years Joe Flacco was a Raven (2008-2018), the Ravens - Steelers head-to-head regular season series was exactly tied at 11-11. And the post-season head-to-head series was led by the Steelers by just one game, 2-1. So, during that time the series was very closely matched.
Damn Tuck 🐐 almost made me forget about f.cking cundiff😢 We should have went to back to back superbowls Harbs has a lifetime coaching contract for me with the Ravens as long as he wants🤷
I remember being at this game (our season seats are Front Row End Zone 1 section off the goal post), and taking my Mom to the game. It was her first NFL game; of course Ravens-Squeelers games are typically never this lopsided score-wise, but that day it was great.
This was the first time the Ravens rolled out their seven nation army chant. Every time a steelers fan heres the chant they're reminded of this game 😈😈😈RAVENS DO IT BETTER.
Lee Evans fucking SUCKED. All of those passes to him were right there ready to be caught, and they zoomed right past Evans I don't think Evans was used to a quarterback throwing as hard as Flacco.
