Is it pretty much just a CNR game there at this point with how dark those fish are? I fished this spot early season last fall but was a little dissapointed in how dark the fish were already. I grew up spoiled by bright fish much closer to the salt so I'm trying to wrap my head around this steelhead fishery. Is my timing off or do I just need to reset my expectations?
Well we are 100s of miles away from the salt, and it is fishing. Not every fish will be chrome bright and cookie cutter perfect. I go fishing to catch fish and have a good time! Everyone has different expectations🎣🎣
