Steelheart was the 1st cd I ever bought...1990...Tragic what happened to Mili, early on the speaker rack fell on him and hurt him bad.....It was already bad enough they came out at the end of glam, and right before the seattle scene....to have that happen to them they were done for awhile......a long while...He rebuilt everything and saved his voice, and after all these years I finally got to see them . I think the year was about 2019 ..In Detroit at the Token lounge. Let me just say Milis voice was still amazing....One of a kind....and energy.
I've followed along with Steelheart since 1990. They are a very talented group of Musicians. Miljenko Matijevic is one of a kind and a amazing human being. Sadly, too many underestimate his talent and he is very taken for granted. ❤
@@paulthomasbranda7591 I've seen heaps of kids who are into them, they deserved better timing but a lot of bands also got signed thru 89-90 and they did very well in their 2-3 years, Their Legacy will live on he's one of the best singers ever, the whole band is amazing it's sad how many great bands lost traction because of Nirvana lol
Mili has the best melodic voice I've ever heard. I've enjoyed all the years. When they came out I couldn't believe my ears in a singer. But the whole group made steelheart. Bless u guys and thanks for many many years of music
That drummer is brilliant and RIP to him. Shame I never heard of him until I discovered this brilliant band., he’s up there with the greats of the 80’s.

You can obviously hear the contrast between his talking register timbre and his singing timbre, just shows you how much difference mixed voice can make.

I swear these guys are awesome!!! Really down to earth and soooooo much raw just,....TALENT!!!! Yeah that’s it!!! Nobody has it anymore!!!!! It’s so freakin gimmick this fad that!!!! I mean damn bring the music back somebody’s pulled the damn cord and it desperately needs a crash cart!!!
Man to think what these guys could have been had they been picked up even 6 years earlier. Mike's power vocals, they just got in too late amidst the whole "grunge" transition, really a too short lived early career.
