Been using this keyboard for months. Besides it being an absolute dust magnet, I’ve never used a more responsive solid keyboard coming from using Corsair k65 variants playing Csgo competitively. The lighting is bright and full. They make reds feel like rough switches. Almost like browns once you get used to how smooth they are. And with the actuation set to 1 you really do notice a difference in snappiness. If you’re just the average joe looking for an rgb keyboard you can find something much cheaper. If you really get into competitive games then I’d really suggest looking into this

It’s crazy how the channel grew since 2019

I just want to say that I just got my Apex Pro and it's fucking awesome, I can't describe the feeling of typing on this, it's fucking addictive. The quality of the whole thing is amazing. I feel the keycaps great, maybe in the future if I want to change something to it, I'll buy some PBT keycaps. My previous keyboard was a Hyperx FPS Pro with brown switches and I have to say (at least for myself) those feel like crap compared to this. I hope I can help someone who is in doubt with this like I was, there's no way to be wrong buying this. Thanks ​ @The Techne for helping me decide! :D

If you're looking at the Huntsman TKL vs this Apex Pro TKL, here you go: SS switches just barely actuate sooner, .4 vs .5 or something stupidly small. Razer doesnt give the Huntsman TKL onboard memory for lighting or binds, etc. The huntsman is $120 while the Apex is $180. Apex has the digital screen and features that can extend from that, like volume. The Huntsman has fully standard keys, idk about the Apex. Huntsman has a replaceable cable. Apex has much better light shine-through in their caps.

I bought this keyboard based on your review. at first though, when I did the upgrade on the download control that controls all steelseries products, i forgot that name. I KNEW when I did the update, it would crash, and it did. I had to go back and download it again. Then a few days later ALL items stopped working. I had to unplug, replug, reboots. what a headache. I went through this for a few days. so far the last 2 days its behaving but i'm worried. Otherwise its the best keyboard I ever had. before I had the Corsair board for about the same price. but I do prefer this one. it was expensive for sure. The only thing I have trouble with is trying to get the RGB to make certain keys certain colors. on the screen diagram it seems to work ok, but it does not do the same on the actual keyboard. hopefully these are just bugs I have to work out. we will see.

I am wondering how durable this keyboard will be. Will it hold op on spills, breadcrums etc or will they clog the omnipoint switches..just wondering about it. Dont think its worth the 200. If it came with PBT keycaps and a aluminium case and some nice customkeycaps then it would be worth. Heck i would pay like 250-300 for that because it would be endgame worthy. I feel like they are stepping up their game but need to step it up some more ;).

I need to pick this up. Im playing a lot of fortnite right now and that speed is gonna be signifigant especially with how important being able build and edit quickly is. Games with lots of keys that need to be pressed quickly are where this keyboard is really gonna shine

Hey man when you use the G305 for a review try and use a AAA battery instead of an AA one and cover up the gap with a bit of foil, it basically reduces the weight by 20 percent , makes it was less back heavy and brings it down to 84g making it way nicer to game on

hey man, i have a UK layout keybaord and i was going to buy the hyperx pudding keycaps but they are in the US form, does this mean i cant buy it? i know that the enter and shift key is different but im kinda confused if this means i cant get them??? please can any1 help!!!
