Have you enabled windows audio enhancements? Disable them as they destroy quality.

Can you share your Eq Settings? For me the default settings are better than all presets and autoeq harman/etc for music ...

wired will always sound better for mic quality but they both have good sound quality

Wired connection doesn't work properly. Sound works, microphone doesn't.
