Dear Mr. Louie, This is very informative. Would appreciate if you can clear my one doubt regarding emergency power supply to steering control system on the bridge in case of blackout. My question is, Are both the steering controls connected to emergency switchboard or is it only one connected to ESB just like only one steering motor is connected to ESB?

Normally,, sa solenoid valve and problema ng hydraulic lock.. check mo din ung electrical signal.minsan kailangan i-adjust ung setting ng hydraulic valve block.. check mo sa steering manual ung procedure ng setting.
Please post circuit diagram. What kind of sensors are mounted on rudder to know its position apart from the ones on actuator. What is the coordination between the heading set and actuator movement.
