frr, people in the r comments saying Klaus is better and would have turned on her humanity. But, he wasn't there for Caroline like Stefan was. All he did was say a few sweet lines about fancying her. But he was never really there for her. With her fathers death and all. Let's also not forget how he tried to kill her 3 times (that's the same number of times he tried to kill Elena). First, for the sacrifice, second when he made Tyler bite her and third when he himself stabbed her a bit her.

I feel like Klaus would have been the one who could have gotten her back on her humanity. He had a real connection with her. Stefan was a good friend, but a bad boyfriend (to Caroline).

It’s kind of amazing how the message a lot of fans got, and I guess the show supported, is that abusive relationships are “better.” Like if the person says the right things, in spite of what they do, they are the better partner. If they don’t listen to your or respect you, and if they’re cruel to others, but they give you attention, they truly love you. These are just signs of abusive relationships and dating people who are charming but not good. Anyway just due to all the Caroline and Klaus comments lol. And yeah it’s fiction, but people genuinely seem to think their relationship was healthier, and considering how many bad relationships people get into…
As a fan of the universe of The Vampire Diaries (Books and series) I have always found that the friendship between Stefan and Caroline was more natural and more authentic than their romantic relationship. I think Stefan and Caroline were more interesting as friends than as a couple. Their friendship was more complex and more interesting, and it was based on deeper feelings than love. I am also disappointed with the way Julie Plec developed some romantic relationships. For example, the relationship between Stefan and Caroline was very well developed in the first two seasons, but it lost its coherence in the following seasons. Julie Plec destroyed the love story between Stefan and Elena that had been created in a complex and captivating way by Kevin Williamson. This story was at the heart of the series, and Julie Plec completely ignored it. In conclusion, I think Kevin Williamson should have been the only screenwriter of The Vampire Diaries. He could have created a darker, more serious, and more coherent series.
I know, seemed very easy and convenient just to put her and Stefan together even though they have no romantic chemistry and you could actually feel on the screen how awkward they were together

im totally in for klaroline. i just can't watch steroline. stefan deserves to be with elena, as they are true soulmates. but i will forever be a delena fan. i cannot choose between stelena or delena, its just not possible.
Is it necessary to always turn a real good friendship into a romantic one? Stefen and Caroline had zero chemistry as a couple. I loved the deep bonding and understanding they had as friends. That was the only pure thing to cherish in the thr whole TVD universe. Ugggghhhh I hated to watch them getting married.
Couples I never got Steroline and Benzo. I mean maybe cuz Stephen was one of Caroline’s best friends. Ok perhaps that. But what was Stefan’s reason? Was it she there when he went ripper? I can’t remember if she was or helped him. His reason is lost to me. Since we never saw the Benzo time years together I never took that relationship seriously. One day they weren’t in love the next they were. No context. No beginning or middle just an end (the end being the moment they fell in love) The many other relationships we saw. Stelena, Delana, Matt and Caroline, Matt and Rebekah, Caroline and Tyler etc.. They and the others in the series all had more obvious reasons why feelings emerged and the journey of the relationship.
Why the heck everyone wanted her to switch on her humanity switch She was doing a lot better than others and she didn't went on a killing spree like others(excluding damon) She only started killing people when everyone started to tell her what she should or shouldn't do and trying to flip her humanity switch.......she is the queen she knows what she is doing......u people made that worse.......
They wanted to flip the switch because, when someone flip the switch off, they are not feeling any emotions. The longer the switch is off bigger/stronger the emotions. When(if) she turns it on sometime it will all start flooding back all at once, then she will loss her mind. Damon loss his mind when he flipped the switch after almost a 100 years. We saw what happened to him. He was a lot more stronger than Caroline, so if she ever flipped it back after a long time, she would have lost it. Now, no vampire without humanity will ever turn it on because of their own freewill. Every time there is a person or an incident that triggered it. @ᴍᴀᴊɪᴅ the humidity switch doesn't dam up the emotions that are already there, the only reason they feel compounded emotion after they flipped the switch back on is because of all the harm that they did while it was switched. If they had left Carolina alone, she wouldn't have hurt anyone, so she wouldn't have had the amount of grief to deal with that she did after Stefan knocked her off the rails
@@CarpeNoctem1864 no isn't like that. I just finished watching season 6. When Caroline turned it off, Elena asked to Stefan this exact question. Then Stefan answered her that when the switch is off, all emotions are not being avoided, they are just being stored elsewhere. When they flip it shey will snap. Stefan's exact words were:when she turn it on Caroline is gonna snap and it's gonna be my fault.... So basically you're wrong, I'm pretty sure because i just finished that season.
