I think Caroline and Stephan are perfect together. I mean she's the only one out of everyone he's associated with that can make him genuinly smile and laugh. She makes him forget. And at this point that's all he really needs and wants to be happy and he can do that with her. Personally I think that there chemistry in the show is easy to see you don't really have to be a rocket scientist to see it. and yet Stephan doesn't. He's obviously far from stupid. And I think the reason he doesn't see it is because he doesn't want to. you can tell he feels something for her because there's these small tender moments in the show were his looks give away everything and within a second its gone because of the fact that he wants to ignore it. I think that when elana broke his heart it hurt him deeply. And I think that its because of that that hes afraid to fall in love again. because of the heart break that follows. Because in his mind after that the friendship is over and she's really all he has

You have no idea what this vid is doing to me, its a fucking masterpiece. They have to be endgame. I have always been fascinated by love stories which have a slow burn journey, which is why I ship Delena more than any other couple on TV cause they probably have in my opinion the best journey in all of TV history. Stefan and Caroline also have a slow burn journey, its been going on since season one, but was never fully addressed until season 4. For me I didn't see the signs of something more than friendship until 4x16 when Stefan lifted Caroline over his shoulders and took her to the dance floor. I didn't ship them after that moment, however I did feel sparks for them and was very intrigued by where Julie was taking it. I don't think I shipped them until season 5. I love how they are so relaxed and comfortable with each other. I love how they can joke with one another. I love how easily they can talk to each other knowing they other won't be judged. I love everything about them, but most of all I love how they started as friends. I believe the best love stories start as friendships for example Damon and Elena, Pacey and Joey, Monica and Chandler, Ron and Hermione, Harry and Sally (When harry met sally) . So people shouldn't say romance will ruin their friendship cause as evidence shows it will most definitely not. I know majority of the people who watch TVD and TO ship Klaroline, but I am so glad the writers won't be going in that direction. To be honest I could never see klaroline as a couple and I even shipped them in season 3, but when I look back I think I only shipped them cause it was new and everyone else was. In season 5 when they hooked up I didn't feel a thing for them, not even the slightest spark. I feel like the only reason they hooked up was so caroline could get all her sexual desires of him out of her system. Anyways to sum this up, I think having a Delena and steroline endgame will be the best way to end the series.

Omgosh I love this edit!! it is definitely my FAVORITE BY FAR!! They music, words in the background and screen videos were literally a PERFECT explain of the love that came to be!! CAROLINE FORBES may not have been the first love, BUT she was definitely his last!! I think had they given them more time...it would have been his EPIC LOVE!!! I loved both Stelena and Steroline equally but I do believe Steroline would have lasted FOREVER!!!!!!

So beautiful. Thanks for this :) I don't get the Steroline hate. I think Klaroline was a ship mostly because people loved Joseph Morgan and didn't want to see him as a villain much longer and Klaus needed a love interest to humanize him a little bit. Caroline was just convenient. (Don't hate, I shipped them too) If you really think about it, Stefan and Caroline have made sense ever since season 2 where he helped her transition and frankly Stefan only seems to be genuinely happy when he's around her. Elena and the love triangle drama makes him broody and emo and I think I'm kind of done with that - have been, in fact, for a while.
