It gave me the feeling of emptiness, an internal void. Almost exhausted after the intensity of the first two movements. Curious to hear where the next movement will go.
My beloved composer, Stephan! In Symphony No. 6, I like the third movement the most❣️The strings start moving from 4:40, and I felt a calm color. The thumbnail is in black and white, but I felt a sense of color in this symphony! Actually, I tried listening to it with my eyes closed😃Tokyo is crowded and noisy, but I was moved by the moment of peace and the beautiful work of Stephan😃Thank you very much❣️

Oh, Stefan!! The mood was somber and I was in a relaxed mood doing some deep listening and thinking. Then……..at the 3 minute mark, the BELL tolled! It snapped me to attention. Love it! A great work of art. The third movement was totally worth the wait for it to come out. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The beautiful slow harmonic changes remind me of the slow movement from Rachmaninoff’s 2nd Symphony and those sudden appearances of the tolling bell remind me of Symphonie Fantastique. But with your own unique language of course. Absolutely stunning, Stefan!

I have listened to this third movement of your symphony and I find it very enjoyable. The sonority of the orchestra is incredibly composed according to the instruments close to its sonority(?) Something very captivating!!! I don't know if I'm expressing myself clearly. A wonderful piece to listen to and also sure to perform Stefan. Big congrats!💐

the most characteristic feelings I take from this involve the subtle shifts in tonality that are so delicious I had to go back to savor their beauty again; one occurs right before the bell first strikes. Wonderful! Such deeply meditative music with two sections of more urgent striving that belie the calm on the surface. The beauty of the music only increases the more you listen...it is not as cold or wintery as one first suspects...only perhaps weary of cold. So ambiguious and rich, Stefan. I await the entire 3 movements in one file so I can listen to them in succession.

Wow, diese langgezogene Ruhe mit ganz viel Zeit und zu sich Kommen und den wenigen wohlplatzierten Einzelmomenten darauf ist ganz große Kunst! Was für ein wunderbarer Abschluss für eine Sinfonie, die so aufwühlend und verstörend begann. Sehr philosophisch dieses fast-Nichts, das doch so voll von Bedeutung und beredt ist! Wunderschön der Holzbläseraufbau um 5:00 herum!

Oh, wie zu erwarten war, wieder sehr beeindruckend und faszinierend, lieber Stefan! Großartige Harmonien im entspannten, ruhigen Teil, dann setzen sich einzelne Instrumente mit ihren Aussagen ab, es folgt ein bewegter, unruhiger Teil, angsterfüllt... und die Glocke schlägt! Im 2. Teil ein ähnlicher Ablauf...die Glocke schlägt! Im 3. Teil...die aktuelle Situation! Die Glocke hat noch nicht geschlagen...noch nicht...es besteht noch eine Chance.... Großartig, lieber Stefan! Dass es heute noch Komponisten gibt, die Sinfonien schreiben können, neu und ungehört. Bravo!. Deine Klangsprache begeistert mich, sie ist so vielfältig und kompositorisch meisterhaft ausgeführt. Ich höre in Deiner Musik immer Deine sakandinavische Herkunft aber das muss und sollte auch so sein, denn sie ist ein Idiom! Ich vergesse immer zu Liken, sorry!

Auch der letzte Satz ist ganz großartig!! Faszinierend finde ich diese Kontraste , die du durch diese glockenartige Töne erzielst, als ob man aus einem Traum aufwachen würde, aber dann wieder in ihn hineingezogen wird. Auch das finale Crescendo ist dir wunderbar gelungen. Immer wieder beeindruckend wie du mit einer feinen und umfangreichen Palette von Klangfarben seelische Landschaften malst. Definitiv mein Lieblingssatz aus dieser Sinfonie! ❤ Die leicht düstere Atmosphäre hat mich zum schwelgen gebracht - bis mich der Glockenklang aus der Traumwelt gerissen hat 😅 Welcher Schelm da wohl dahinter steckte? Erinnert ja ein bisschen an Haydn 😉 nur musikalisch ganz weit entfernt 😄
