Stefano Boeri’s Vertical Forest is a model for a sustainable residential building; a project for metropolitan reforestation that contributes to the regeneration of the environment and biodiversity while reducing urban sprawl.
It’s a model of vertical densification of nature within a city that operates in accordance with policies regarding reforestation and naturalisation of large urban and metropolitan areas.
As well as Milan, Stefano Boeri Architetti currently has Vertical Forest projects in Lausanne (Switzerland), and in Nanjing and Guizhou (China). And Boeri is keen to share his knowledgeand experiences with Utrecht with Wonderwoods being next on his list!
