The famous Italian guitar player Stefano Grondona plays "El Mestre", a traditional Catalan Song transcribed by Miguel Llobet (1878-1938). This is a part of a concert in Barcelona in 2006.
Excelente versión. Igual, no es necesario poner tanta cara de "soy lo más grande que hay" para tocar música, pero bueno... lo importante es sonar bien.
I usually enjoy Grondona's interpretation. However, I find this such a bland and uninspiring piece - that I doubt anyone could make in interesting to me! Not a criticism of the performance at all - I am a big fan of the guy. Just a dull and unremarkable bit of music.
