Stellantis reviews: "My Chrysler 300 **** Mopar 12 limited edition 300s with the 5.7 L Hemi engine, built from a 300C Chrysler with all of the Chrysler 300C problems, blew up the motor due to a timing chain assembly failure. Stellantis refuses to reimburse me $10,735, which is the cost of a new motor that I had to take a second mortgage out on my home in order to fix it...."

I have been wrenching on cars over 30 years. Don’t care what most say but the MDS is JUNK. I had one on my Charger R/T and it caused me to get rid of it. MDS and Start/Stop isn’t healthy for a motor. An I know engineers get paid big money to develop but I am still not a fan of either system.

I've been wrenching on them for 50 and I agree. It didn't work in the 70's and it doesn't work today. Just like EV's. LOL

Where do you live? Call and email you local news consumer help advocate. Here in the Miami area that would be "Help Me Howard". You mentioned you're in Florida. I'm sure there's a similar consumer advocate investigator in your local news area. Typically, the squeaky wheel gets the grease once a news organization gets involved.

I have had great luck with them since 1994. I have 250k on my current Ram and it is running fine with only maintenance work. I had way more problems with Ford kingpin front end. Must just be a rough day for the person making that product.

You’re going to have to get help either from your attorney general’s office or hire an attorney. Stellantis isn’t going to reverse their NO they aren’t interested in being “nice guys” when they can get away with turning you down.

This sort of story is why Stellantis is ruining CDJR. They really don’t care about this market, don’t understand it. They wanted the Jeep name and thought gullible Americans would slobber over the rest of their crap.Whatever you might think of FIAT, they certainly invested more in education and improvements. My family has bought 13 CDJR vehicles since 2010. (We left Honda after after a similar period and a similar number of vehicles after their indifference to AC, electrical and 4 (!) transmission failures. Looks like it might be Fords next for us.

Ever hear of an auto company called Toyota? Do a Google search for lists of most reliable vehicles or look at Consumer Reports, Toyota vehicles dominant the lists, FORD is absent.

Toyota turning into crap also. Toyota screws customers now also. Not your daddy’s Toyota anymore. Crap cars, crap service corrupt executives. Federal Criminal indictments for test data. Makes me cry. My go to car

@@jppalm3944I don’t know what you’ve been drinking but you couldn’t be anymore wrong concerning Toyota. Check out Consumer Reports and see what they think of the brands vehicles or do a Google for Most Reliable Vehicles. If they screw up as in making bad engines they replace them. I have a 22 RAV 4, I bought it for $40;000, I just got an offer to sell it for $37,680 which i accepted. Where else can I go to get a vehicle that holds its value like that? I’ve spent exactly $0.00 on maintenance and repairs in 25 months. No Ford depreciates less.

Always more to the story. As a dealer employee I can tell u timing chain issues are virtually not existent and have nothing to do with mds system..and your custom story holds no water
