I am coming back here for like 3 years now. No matter if shitty or good day, this track gives me feeling of something more in the air. Long live Space Ambient. Cheers to all.
I'm a science-fiction writer, and I'm writing a novel. I can't explain how much I love this. It speaks to my soul lol.. seriously. Nothing puts me in a better writing state-of-mind.
It is a shamble that no one has commented on here for over 3 months, so here we go. This song is one of my fav which I have returned to over the past 4 or so years. I have to listen to this and that of - Toward The Light - at least once a month, so I can relax and unwind my brain. To allow love and motionless to encircle my being. If there is a Heaven (and I hope there is) I do believe such tracks as these will be playing up there.
What this really moves me is the atmospheric sound, it just flows naturally for 500 seconds that every moment just makes me want to think ahead what the next second the sound is gonna be like, the complexity of this track is as much as the cosmos could be, like space travel, u don't know what it is going to be like, You might suddenly caught in a vortex or warp into another dimensions, the subtle of the sound transition in the music like in between 2:30-3:00 evokes me to visualize the situation, the echoing bell besides helps too, on what earth ambient music conveys the magic as if I have the synesthesia. Poor English but still want to comment.
I would like to dedicate this track to the memory of comet ISON who didn't survised during his passage through the Perihelion(Sun). Only debris left over.
I look at this image....and it strikes me how much I would want to be there. But then I realize how far the human race is from achieving such a thing. Unfortunately, we're still mired in our own infantile ways.....and if we had grown up [as we should have by now], such a thing as this image might have even been possible in my lifetime. At least we have music like this so we can fantasize.
I just had a dream. And I usually don't dream about but the last one was something crazy. It all started when me and my friends were outside sitting in a car. One of them made fun of me, so I decided to close the door and not let him in, when it all started. The whole earth started collapsing. It looked like the every single one of the stars in our nights sky exploded. Huricanes and tornadoes were everywhere. It was the end of the world, our world. Me and my friends were trying to escape when we saw spaceships (shuttles) taking off. We managed to get into one of them, where I met my father. I haven't seen him in ages, because he was working in Kazakhstan as an architect. We started flying as our earth were glowing inside out and then boom - it exploded. There was nothing left, just huge piles of rock and debris of our skyscrapers, building, planes, cars in the light of a billion stars and galaxies. So we traveled into the center of our galaxy, where the last human home were - a space station called "the nest". out of 7 billion people just only 40 million survived and I was one of them. Me and my father started talking, and I asked about what I saw. He said never forget what you just saw, because those are the last memories of our green home, of our oceans, of our darkish orange blue sky. He gaved me a device and said don't show it to anyone besides your friends that you trust, because apparently just after you get into the spaceship your memory is erased. Nobody wants 40 million people panicing about how their home was distroyed. And if you're in the spaceship you have to obey the all of the orders otherwise you would be exterminated. Before we docked he said that for those past 4 years that I haven't seen him he was designing the spaceship. The only problem was the goverment. They wanted to control the people as soulless human beeings. He didn't liked that, but couldn't change incase anything would happend to our family. As we entered the spaceship we were checked by the spaceship staff. Every single person had to put on a strange device that looked like a helmet. It was designed to erase minds. So I putted the device that my father gave me inside my mouth and walked through. Then I saw how people were oppresed by the goverment. My goal now is to change everything and let the people know what really happened. End of my dream.
+drew stafford Technology for biological immortality isn't very far away, about 30 years or so. Wait until then, acquire that, then wait until the technology for mental immortality develops, and from then you simply have to wait around. It'll come one day, the time when people live in space.
+CockatooDude Ehhh, you're somewhat correct, but that kind of tech is something we probably will not see in our lifetime. There have been magnificent advances towards greater longevity of life (not immortality), but to say 30 years is definitely an overstatement. Biotech no doubt has rapidly evolved and continues to, but other biological research has slowed down due to so much being revealed as a result of the Human Genome Project. Life is much more intricate than anyone could/ could have ever imagine. Fingers crossed, though. Immortality is one of my greatest wishes.
Daniel Satterfield Look into it, because the field of nanotechnology is advancing rather quickly, and all we need is a nanobot that we can program our DNA into and it would kill any "defective" cells. Once we have that, no more aging. When I say 30 years I am serious, you just wait.
+CockatooDude I'll definitely take a closer look when I have some time. I've actually recently been considering studying more methods of the uses of biotech on human health, namely nanobot technology. I finish my undergraduate in a year, so widening my scope for graduate program focuses will be helpful. Thanks.
Awesome Picture. Awesome ambience. Awesome channel. Would anyone else be able to recommend any other ambient youtube channels? I would love to get into awesome dreamy music like this!
Many propably might be wondering that if she feels cold with that blanket, but i don't think so. But after that you will be wondering where is everything else like kitchen or bathroom?
I rarely comment on music even if I like it, but in this case I cannot resist. This song reflects me to such an extent that the resonance I experience passes through all the borders within. Superb workgiant
I think the picture is a bit expressionist. We forget that future will be made out of present. So, a more relevent version of this picture would have more gadgets around the room, more comfortable furnitures instead of a depressing cold vastness. But again, maybe it's a prison cell who knows.
You could also argue that the future may be very minimalist.. I've always found so called "modern" homes to be a bit cold, certainly not very happy places. Reminds me of being in an art gallery.
crazyfvck If the house - a spaceship, it becomes quite melancholy. Maybe it will be so in the future as it sounds in this music-epically beautiful and sad.)
When I first saw that image, I thought that the girl was supposed to be Nymphadora Tonks simply because her hair looks purplish. Now that's what my mind goes to whenever I hear this track.
