I love how Stellaris started as a strategy game, but got turned into role-playing game about building your own star empire, I love it!

I recall people making fun of this blue guy when the first snapshots of Federations got out. Where he looked really angry standing next to a frog guy with a smile as big as could be. The joke was that he must be sick and tired of all this federation bulls$it. Well... *_they weren't wrong_*

Who would win? The virgin federation? The chad alliance of blue elves, frogs and humans?

You know I just noticed, he signed a treaty with the humans separately and then they both worked together to create a different alliance to take out/take over the one they were both currently in.

Neat ambiguity about the narrator; is he a hero turning the tables on smiling frauds who forced his country into servitude or a viciously ungrateful villain repaying generosity and compassion with treachery and aggression?

Paradox, you guys should make a short film with these animations. 5-10 min short film would be awesome 👏

I love Stellaris honestly I play it more than Hearts of Iron IV. The content really is worth the money mostly.

This is connected to the previous federation video blew my mind. Union of progress, the unhappy blue alien, they were all there. They even focused on the angry face blue alien. When they announced the Union of progress, the blue alien made a grieve face while everyone's laughing.

Let's see, the trailer story goes like this: one federation member and his people was dissatisfied with the way the Galactic Union was working out, so he left it and formed a hegemony with another state. He then unleashed his fleets on his former allies to force them into his hegemony.

Blue Bro is the hero of this story. His people, the losers of a galactic war. Left broken, they had only two options, between abandoning their old ways of life, and starving as a species. Now he's standing against his former oppressors, prepared to show them what his people had to suffer through.

I have this kind of Empire once in my game, we were Trading Partner whrn suddenly xenophobic uprising take over and they invaded my Empire, after initially occupying 1/5 of my space, I go all out and erradicate their traitorous race by enslaving every single xenophobic pops and selling them to the devouring swar empire, while the rest are transferred to their Home Planet and forbidden to leave. I vacate their colonies and replace them with my own race hahaha.

Juggernaut looks damn scary in this video but when you build it in game. It become a puppy hiding behind its 500k strong master. Also, you always forget about it somewhere and only remember it after it's blows up.

Holy crap, music at the end gave me chills! Over 300h in the game and can't wait for more!

I wish they did short videos for major events. In MoO2 they had a 5 second video for when you destroyed a planet. I would love to see that again. A small cut scene when an FE wakes up, or portals open up and ships pour out.

I love how blue guy implies most of the reason they're leaving the Federation is because their empire faced economic hardships (people starving) while the rest of the federation ignored them, but maybe they wouldn't have had such a tough time if they hadn't spent all their money on building a spaceship the size of a small country.

its funny the blue guy in the first trailer clearly did not believe in the federation but here whatever was offered he truly is grateful to the human with the look on his face. a true smile not one forced. i would love to know what was signed.
