im loving this game, but i fear that if i, in deep space, encounter a a comet, i will suffer -1 stability

*Watches as the colony ship gets obliterated* "Dammit Xeno's, you blew up humanity's first colony ship" *Realises the narrator is actually talking from the viewpoint of the alien, and we humans blew up the ship is defence of our border* "It was all in the name of science! Promise!" In case anyone is muddled, the "superior" fleet in the video is the mammal design, while the colony ship and it's rescue force ships are of reptilian design, providing that we were, indeed, the one that pulled the trigger.

Ohhhh... I get it now. Humans weren't the ones that sent the colony ship; the humans are the ones that destroyed the colony ship. It was the Commonwealth of Man.

Wait, is this implying that the 'alien race' that destroyed the neptuna was actually humans, and the story is being told from an alien perspective

Funny how Paradox are the clear leaders in all things strategy. I look back on stuff like GalCiv3; a game that simply doesn't dream big, and is just a carbon copy of all things previous. Thank you Paradox for daring to dream big, and be different.

I like how they say warp drive which is wrong because they use hyperlanes, the mirror universe is the one where instead of hyperlanes they discovered the warp drives causing warp beast to invade

The story of what is told in this truly reminds me of when the humans met the Minbari in Babylon 5

For better or worse, we seem to be alone in our Galaxy (perhaps, we are the first technological civilization- we might not necessarily be the last, and SOMEONE has to cone first...) But there might be other galaxies like this right now...

Huh, just decided to binge watch all of Stellaris' trailers and all here and...You'd think, in-game you'd be able to shoot unknown vessels but no, well you can but only to the neutral mobs I think? and hostile ones for sure. But against other AI empires/players can't. Even with shoot on sight when within the borders, they can go past your defenses and fleets unless you were at war then you'd definitely be able to shoot them. I find Stellaris to be one of the greater 4x rts games out there, the trailers and animations are superb and so is the in-game animation and design. Though clearly it is lacking in some areas, and one of those areas are being able to shoot other ships/stations without needing to go to war first as shown in this video otherwise. It would be nice if Ai/players can be hostile to one another without needing to go to war, like they can shoot each other whether it'd be for border conflict or something else. As for war, that's basically when the invasion or destruction of each others territories begin. I think paradox failed on that which is just one of many oversights but the game is generally still great but could be better.

I hope this level of music quality and atmosphere is also ingame!
