There's actually a Dinosaur Mountain?! You better believe it. The "Light" episode begins with Geoff's friend, British paleontologist Alison Stoltman giving a tour of the star feature at Mesa's Arizona Museum of Natural History, and Geoff muses that Earth's most powerful creatures - the dinosaurs - became extinct in large part because "the lights were switched off." On at visit to ASU Geoff is fascinated when Dr. Wim Vermaas shows him how cyanobacteria could be a "universal production machine" with the potential to change the world. Next, at ASU's Flexible Display Center Geoff thinks science fiction is being turned into reality when he tries on a sleeve-mounted communication unit and meets the world's thinnest television and a bendable organic light-emitting display. Then it's on to Barrow Neurological Institute where Geoff has a literal meeting of the minds with neuroscientist, "Sleights of Mind" author, and magician Dr. Stephen Macknik. The episode ends when with Geoff's Young STEM Investigator Bekah making a visit to the ASU Light Works. But the highlight of this episode? Well ... obviously ... Geoff got to put on a "bunny suit" and visit the clean room.
