I used FE Builder to make every playable character in fe8 have 1hp and a 0% hp growth. Chapter 2 was surpisingly painless, but things will get much, MUCH worse...
Glad to see this series is back! Been pretty cool so far Looking ahead, I feel like Gilliam could be nice to train. If he gets his defense procs he should be able to shrug off most physical hits after training, which could reduce all the low % hits that need to be dodged. His support cast is kinda eh, but they can at least give him even more defense. Next chapter's pretty slow paced so it should be about as painless at least (hopefully)
Appreciate the support 😊 I did get excited about Gilliam at first, thinking his Def could be high enough to take zero damage, but I think he needs quite a few levels for that to happen. Might try and train him if I can. Yeah ch3 is the only other chapter I think should be quite easy, and I'm excited to use 2 range at last with neimi and javelin/hand axes!
He can uhh, Barrier eventually I guess lol? Maybe even Rescue/Warp but that requires deploying him just to train staff rank instead of someone that can actually fight. Other than that... idk he can be a supportbot, I guess?? (I'm just hoping he proves his merit somehow lol).
Staff units aren't in a good place in this game, trying to grind staff rank ad xp is impossible. I think promoting Artur for C rank staves as a bishop will be my best option
Barrier and Torch spam are a thing (costs gold of course but you do at least have vulns and elixirs to sell). Promoted Artur is probably still the best potential warper tho just due to his magic, I just like the Boulder a lot. All that staff stuff prolly won't be relevant for a while regardless, so there's that. (Artur still has to be recruited after all lol).
@@min-min3160 that's a tricky recruitment, Ol' Artur. Not sure if I'll manage it, I might miss out on him 😂 ive only ever use moulder in one run actually, when I did a magic units only campaign. He was actually great as a sage, I loved his high defence
