Reticle should be resized Circles to match Shots pattern with deferent chokes I hope your new model will get this feature with more clarity , auto focus and low light capabilities

Emily, can you connect to two items at once? Say an iPhone and an iPad at the same time?

No, only one device at a time. WiFi transfers data in packets of information, so it needs to know which device to send it to. Thanks for your comment!

Can you play the video in the app without downloading? I don't want to have to stop and download if I miss. I want to just tap to replay the previous shot. Also do I have to hit record and stop before/ after each shot or does it have a feature to continuously record and just clip a few seconds before/ after the gun shoots?

Thank you for your comment Ray. Yes, you will need to download your ShotKam videos through the mobile app. With the Gen 4, video download takes about 3 seconds, so it's quick and easy. Yes, the ShotKam will automatically save each recoil as a video, here is more information and a video on our Help Center on how the ShotKam works: support.shotkam.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046205672-Using-the-ShotKam. Why does it require location and local network ? (in the new updated ios14) it won’t connect unless it has these both selected in on position. Plenty of wireless camera devices ive used don’t require these settings to be on. This is definitely a privacy concern imo.

Thank you for your comment. On the pop-up and in our privacy policy, you will see that no data is collected from the mobile app. With the new iOS 14, Apple forces live-streaming apps to approve the location and local network, so if you try connecting to a GoPro (or any live-streaming video app with a WiFi source) you will get the same pop-ups. The pop-up that says, "ShotKam would like to find and connect to devices on your local network" allows the app to connect to the ShotKam WiFi - no data is collected. The pop-up that says, "Allow ShotKam to use your location?" allows the app to live stream video - this is a mandatory pop-up by Apple for all live-streaming apps. I hope this helps, thank you

I don’t see an option to select all files when downloading saved videos from the app, is there this option or a work around? If not I think that needs to be included in the app on your next upgrade, I shoot and I take about 100 recordings that’s a lot to select individually

Thanks for your comment. No, selecting all is not an option because if you try to download more than 3-4 videos at a time, then your mobile device's processor can get overwhelmed and close down the app. We suggest that you download just a few at the range to review via WiFi, then use a computer at home to review all 100 videos via the USB cable. By using a computer, you can instantly access all your videos without having to download them wirelessly and fill up your device's memory. Every ShotKam video is 60-80 MB, so they are quite big files, but using a hardwire USB cable means you can access all immediately. I hope this helps! -- Emily

My ShotKam came with the wi_fi connector rotated to the bottom (away from the barrel). Your support says i need to rotate the ShotKam do that the wi-fi connector is closest to the barrel (rotate 180 degrees). The ShotKam seems to be okay, I’ve used it about 10 times. Is there a reason to orient the wi-fi as you say?

When I hit the gun to make it start recording not shows a green light but then goes to sleep mode without showing the blue light which saves the video then when I check the app it has no videos on it. How do you record and save the videos

Here's the video on how to operate the camera: support.shotkam.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046840372-Step-5-How-to-operate-the-camera-when-ready-to-shoot Once the camera feels a recoil, it will automatically save the video (blue LED after the recoil). I hope this helps!

How do you change the reticle to a red dot?

Hi Gary, thanks for your comment. Turn the ShotKam WiFi on, connect your mobile device, then open the ShotKam app. Click the gear icon (settings), and click "Reticle Style". You can choose your reticle style from there :).
