Step 25. Presenting on the microphone. At some point you could be talking to an audience and using the microphone, there are lots people who fall at the first fence. Speed talkers usually produce gibberish, there are nervous wrecks hopping about and pacing the floor, mumblers looking at the floor and so on. Basic rules, prepare the spiel well in advance, have a printed sheet in front of you with highlighted bullet points. Don't go into too much detail it just goes over their heads. Don't do the Minnie Mouse squeaky voice it sounds awful. Rehearse in the mirror, record it on your phone, play it back making the corrections. Rehearsal is vital before you speak on the mic.
