When I initially filmed this, I thought of it as a second part of being resourceful (which was step 3)...and in a way it is.
However, the more I think about it, the more I think it's about more than that. It's also about supporting other local producers in your community and building community in general. What you can't grow (yet), you should never be ashamed of purchasing local.
So, while the original video was supposed to be Step 4 To Becoming A Homesteader: More on resourcefulness (and muscadine jelly)...I decided it's current title was more accurate.
