I would love to know if all of the advice is applicable to warmer areas? I’m in SEQ and find that while their growth may slow, it seems few plants go dormant in my garden. Even the annuals flower continuously if I cut them back. Do I still hard prune as recommended here? 🙂

I thought Agapanthus, Hydrangeas and Roses were more what our nans (and pops) grew.
