I’m verse mapping through Revelation. I define key words and write out different versions of each scripture. It’s helping me learn tremendously.

I kind a verse map the same way. I have found that it helps me a lot to to understand scripture. I guess I will have to show you my mappings on a short verse or two.

the Logos app is a good one too. I use the papermate pens for my mapping. Thank you for slowing down your teaching. I enjoyed this video. I usually use my lifestudy bible for commentary at the end.

My friend, Melissa, would read the Bible for like 6 hours a day. She was a good influence on me. I don't read it that much. Both of us had a mental illness (still do). I found a picture of her with her bible on her desk.

I just did my first Verse Map and found it to be thoroughly engaging and I loved it. I got so much out of breaking down the verse. I did Psalms 38:14 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Thank you for this wonderful video.

This is super helpful. I have been verse mapping in a different way, but will be incorporating this into my studies. What I find just as important though , is writing down who wrote the verse, who they are writing to, when it was written and why, and also the context around it. SUPER IMPORTANT to truly understand what is really being said and why. Thank you for sharing! Loved it.

Great video! Thank you! ❤ I appreciate you sharing your study process, which is helpful. And in turn, I hopefully have a helpful suggestion for you in future studies: When there is a difference in word choices between translations, as in the words ordered versus commanded, then I take that as my que to look up the original word in the concordance, to establish that it wasn't mistranslated, or perhaps misunderstood by me. Afterward is when definitions of each word can be looked up next in an English dictionary. And I connect the reference numbers from Strongs to the words I have looked up in my notes, or outlines, etc. Have a blessed day!!

Hello Nikki, my beautiful sister in Christ. Thank you for taking time again to slow down and show us how to verse map. The way you break the the verses down by showing us how to choose words to look up and all of the resources you use when you study a verse is very important to me because I get overwhelmed sometimes on where to go when the definition is not making sense to me like the word baptized with the Holy Spirit did for you. It is really helpful to be reminded to look up other resources like different commentaries or different Bible apps to find the definition that helps me understand what they are talking in the verse more clearly. I have so much trouble writing things out without crossouts that I have become a HUGE FAN of the using the FRIXION erasable pens. They come in different point thicknesses, and left handed folks like me don't get smearing.....ALSO, love the Energel( same reason) .... Frixion ALSO makes erasable highlighters that worl BEAUTIFULLY.... all on Amazon.

Great question!! I try to find key words or words that really stand out to me (sometimes repeated words or topics) and I verse map (I call it Unfolding Truth) those verses!!

I LOVE verse mapping.I take verses before and verses after and study the author and search in my strongs concordance and make sure I'm understanding the verse.This prevents mis interpretation of the word.I love it
