Thank you for this tutorial! I knew my Explore Air 2 would do this but I couldn't figure out HOW to do it. Every other video had me printing my labels on my printer and then having the cricut cut them. That's not what I wanted to do. You saved my project!
Hi there, great video! Do you know if this would work with a print and cut design and a pen drawn design all on one sticker? can you advise me how to do that if possible? Also do you consider labels basically the same as a sticker? Is this smart vinyl thicker than sticker paper? Will it stay on well? Would I need to laminate? Thanks so much!!!
I haven’t done print then cut yet, so I’m not 100% sure, but that sounds like it would work! Yea the labels are just a sticker. They stay on well but if you’re using the pen method they will get smudged if wet
Heat transfer vinyl would not work in this situation. If you look at the other Cricut pantry label video on my channel I use regular adhesive vinyl which you might find more useful.
These are cute. On the jars, did you use permanent or removable vinyl. I used removable but they are coming off. I’m going to redo them because I want to use a different font anyway. It was one of my very 1st projects last year. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing.
I made these today. I was in love with them until I picked one up with damp hands and the writing all smudged. Why would that happen? I see in another comment you mentioned they could be hand washed.
Sorry I missed this comment! No you cannot hand wash these. If you get pen marks wet they will get smudged. If you want to avoid that you could cut out labels with vinyl instead. I also have a video on that on my channel
