I find your method informative with clear explanation. There could be others who may have add to excel this platform based on their learning understanding. Cordial thanks.
You are totally right about French speakers being fast. I would love to get to the point where I can understand french people at their natural pace. Great idea about writing down sentences from French Monologues/Dialogues. I think I'll start with scenes from Star Wars so I have an idea about what the conversations are about without knowing exactly what's being said. Please keep making helpful videos Lexie :)
French speakers are fast, and we also have a unique way of linking words (liaison). You will get to the point where you'll understand French people at they natural pace, I have no doubt about that. For that, you also need to lower your expectations, be patient and keep working towards your goal. Language learning doesn't happen overnight! Be careful with movies when using platforms like Netflix, or Disney +, the subtitles are not always 100% accurate! 😉
That's the spirit Denzel! A lit bit everyday can take you very far in few months. As Steve Jobs said "You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.". What I mean is today, you can't see that you are improving, but in six months time, looking backward you will see how much you have improved 😉
@@LearnFrenchwithLexie MADAME MON POINT EST JE PEUX COMPRENDRE LES CHOSES QUAND JE VOIS AVEC ECOUTER MAIS QUAND JE ECOUTE AVEC MES YEUX FERME ET ECOUTE SEULMENT ; A LA MOMENT MON COMPREHENSION REDUIT
