Hi Ope 👋, I'm nigerian. Wanted to ask if its compulsory to get a real rental contract agreement before attending an interview for hungary study permit application ? You didn't really state this information in any of your videos. I would like to know if the embassy allows temporary accommodation instead like a hotel or airbnb booking ?

I’m not what the embassy would want. Few people mentioned that they used hotel bookings for proof of accommodation but I used a real rental contract.

I used Tower Internationals to get my accommodation and the agent attached to me was Bence. Not sure I can drop his contact here so if you can send a message on IG, I'll share.

Usually, you would have to book an appointment online but in the case where there are no available dates, you can send an email to the consulate. Hopefully, you'll get a response asking you to pick the date you would like.

Hello If your school specifically asks you to, then yes, you’ll have to legalize your document at the Hungarian embassy. Please note that you can start your application while trying to legalize your document

Based on my findings, the process is same but the documents you'll be submitting would be different. About coming with dependents, I'm not sure about that right now. Immigration laws keep changing

It is a document that shows that you were taught in English. You can get it from your university, just ask the student service.

The proof of English does not have to be ielts except your school specifically asks for that. You can get the proof of English from your university, ask your student service

When you mean semester does it mean a full year ? Or how many semesters do you pay tuition fee in one year

There are 2 semesters in one year so if your program is for 2 years, you have 4 semesters and have to pay 4 times

Hello For self-funded students, I often advise that you study in Budapest. One of many reasons would be access to job opportunities. Regarding change of university, I’m not sure since I’m not a scholarship holder.

I’d advise to not consider this. While you might get admission, you won’t be able to get a Schengen visa to come for a bachelor’s degree at this age. Apologies
