That is so beautiful. I always admire your technique from the dropping geeks to the paintings of the snowdrops. It’s not as easy as you make it look, but it’s good to try. Best watercolour channel on RU-vid. Request: a busy garden overladen with colour. My wife wants me to paint ours! Help.

So beautiful Karen! My snowdrops are just starting to emerge from the ground. Love that Green Apatite Genuine color from Daniel Smith! I use it all the time. I also love that you list substitute colors in case we don’t have the ones you mentioned! Love watching you paint!

What kind of W&N white gouache do you use: zinc white or permanent white?

Hi Karen - could you tell me why you used hot pressed paper here please, instead of the usual cold pressed? And would the outcome be very different using cold pressed? Thankyou 😄

Thank you for your question Angela. I don't use the kitchen towel in this way, but thought it would be useful for those wanting to control the amount of paint on their brush. I have been used to wiping my brush on the side of my water pot to control the liquid on my brush. Hope this was helpful :)

If you go to my home page, click on playlists and hopefully you will see members only playlist. If not, some members deleted the youtube app and after that searched for youtube in Google/Safari and had not problem. Hope this works for you. Happy painting :)
