We have absolute love for Indian art and textile and at the same time, we never wanted to loose relevance with the modern times. By god’s grace , we focussed on it and achieved it. Brilliant! The wall lights...the creative use of wall paper...the artwork...everything is in very good taste. My takeaway from this house is: people invariably associate traditional art, furniture and interiors, from any part of the world, with something dark, heavy, formal, serious and mature (even if in the best sense of the words). Shalini has managed to take traditional motifs and artifacts and create an ambience which is light, bright, breezy, cheerful, and youthful. Highly recommended! My favorite was the painting of the green door with the ethnic wall lamps above. Keep up the good work!! ✌👍

Hi. Thank you so much for appreciating ❤. This is 2300sq feet 4bhk apartment. One of the room has been converted to a family lounge. Also, we have opened up the kitchen from two sides. Temple area has been wide opened by pulling down a partition wall. We have kept minimal furniture pieces. Have concentrated maximum storage in the guest bedroom which helped in taking off storage load from other rooms. We have really focussed on a lot of architectural changes to make it look open and large. We are gradually posting the home building story that will give a fair idea about before after 😊. In the end, its a personal belief to adorn the space with beautiful furniture and textiles to uplift it. We have used handloom textiles from Rangbhar❤
