It is never too late. I praise the divine creator within. Ong Namo guru dev Namo. Praise be to the one who lives forever and ever for dropping me flat in the midst of a raging spiritual awakening. Opening my eyes in ways that words can not encompass. We need a school a place to go and learn and live among our kind. Some people, I would lean to say most, cringe at the thought of what we are doing learning and accepting as truth. But Sat Nam. And I will expect nothing less than knowing truth. I AM
Words cannot explain how much this channel and others have helped me on the path im currently on... ive recently lost my job and for good reasons and im learning to trust in the unknown Its never been easy and if it was i would not be here right now in this moment i cant thank you enough. The Gnostic teachings found me I did not find it gratitude and thanks 🙏 i hope we all start to find the light within big love to all brothers and sisters 🫂♥️
You folks are so thorough and you make the scriptures so easy to understand and practical. I believe there are few courses out there that are reliable and accurate to scripture and that break down the essential steps to yoga and meditation with explanations that are relevant to modern people. Many thanks.
Difficult subject to explain, more difficult to understand, especially for those who are too deep in the current daily life (like me... 🥺), with a positive perception of multitasking deeply grounded in their own psyche. Thank you and bless you for all your courage and efforts!
Indeed, May all Beings be happy, joyful and at peace! Another excellent production Glorian, we thank you so very much for what you're doing to help us all!
There is some serious insights in this video. The similarities of knowledge within the video to Sri Aurobindo`s The Synthesis of Yoga are so striking that I believe Glorian has studied that work thoroughly (and with great skill and care). It could also be that both works overlap in their studies of older Vedic texts. Be that as it may, perhaps one can draw some benefit from this quote from The Synthesis of Yoga, to further help in meditation: "Our mind is a receiving, developing and modifying machine into which there is being constantly passed from moment to moment a ceaseless foreign flux, a streaming mass of disparate materials from above, from below, from outside. Much more than half our thoughts and feelings are not our own in the sense that they take form out of ourselves; of hardly anything can it be said that it is truly original to our nature. A large part comes to us from others or from the environment, whether as raw material or as manufactured imports; but still more largely they come from universal Nature here or from other worlds and planes and their beings and powers and influences; for we are overtopped and environed by other planes of consciousness, mind planes, life planes, subtle matter planes, from which our life and action here are fed, or fed on, pressed, dominated, made use offer the manifestation of their forms and forces. The difficulty of our separate salvation is immensely increased by this complexity and manifold openness and subjection to tile in-streaming energies of the universe. Of all this we have to take account, to deal with it, to know what is the secret stuff of our nature and its constituent and resultant motions and to create in it all a divine centre and a true harmony and luminous order.
@Glorian I don`t doubt that, but there is clearly a vocabulary and intellectual framework taken from Vedic philosophy, more or less identical with that found in the mentioned work. Nothing wrong with that, of course, on the contrary. Keep up the great work- the videos are great!
Funny enough, headline of the video contains this catchy phrase "why you cannot concentrate", but out of almost 40 min's video, there's only 20 sec. interval, which gives a very scanty answer - "because you have problems in steps 1 & 2 (ethics)"...:) This is not to offend the authors of the video, as in general the video is very good!
The whole video explains why you cannot concentrate; it is because of ethics (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A30osjg3LVA.html), lack of control over attention (all-pointedness), identification with arising and subsiding phenomena, and laziness: people do not bother training in concentration.
Learning and most importantly practicing much from these videos. It's probably not optimal to use music? I prefer sining bowls and such? Been practicing for about a year at this time. lm also using Hapé or Rapé as a tool to prep me for "Meditation". I thought it funny as well when pointed out that what most have been doing all this time is not actually meditation but the preparation FOR meditation. I get it. Lol. Thank you for the lovely and informative video's. To consciousness and beyond. Namaste
@@Glorian Have watched all 5 and setting time aside today to re listen. Practiced the Pranayam technique this morning and it was very centering and l was able to stay very focused. As l move the energy up my spine to my head, l found my focus moved with my breath up the journey. After about 10 min l kept my " true focus" in my head while still maintaining moving the energy. I thought this made a great difference. Is this the correct method?
Sir, I am told that after the 8th stage, u should start listening to the sounds of the Chakras, some hear crickets, flutes, drums and many other instruments. What is ur understanding about this? Ive been told that if u do that u can meet God.?
People repeat that advice because it is written in an old scripture. It is true that if you hear such sounds, they can lead you to spiritual experiences. However, we prefer to focus on reducing our suffering, and becoming better people. That is the basis of this course.
Dear Glorian, I want to translate your lessons to Portuguese to send to my family who don’t speak English. I have a niece, 7 years old interested in meditation. Do you allow me to? And if so, can I post it with the credits to your channel?
Volunteers are translating subtitles using Amara. If you want to help, use the link in the description, and let us know when you are done so we can add it. amara.org/videos/aV7YXsj6KX94/info/step-six-of-meditation-concentration-why-you-cannot-concentrate-and-how-to-learn/
@@Glorian awesome. It's in my Projects and I'll let you know when I'm done. I was just reading about copyrights in your website. I get it now. Thank you!
