I slowed down the video. Either they did a really good job with the masking, or it was a real hit. Especially since Jordy’s hair and glasses moved a good bit on impact. 😬
5:00, if you shoot twice with the same movement, it will be difficult. Because the position of the result can be different, even though we are standing with the right point.
even without making in 3d you can use your charecter as a displacement map and play with settings and add some wves as disaplacement texture or simply use cc radiowaves or cc caustics to generate a good wave texture in the mirror and make the texture of mirror highly shiny in order to acheive good result. then just add a masked and -x scaled copy of environment and reflection of yours. and that's it || I hope you enjoyed the video guys. Jordy i think my friend that it could give a good result if you made just a rought 3d model of your's by make it from your phone and then just adding some waves simulations and a nice chrome texture with high reflection and some your room HDRI environment to make it feel more good and then just by adding your reflection will make it movie level
