Bro im 50 years old and ive witnessed greatness in sports, the rise and fall of Tyson, Liverpools comeback in the European Cup, MJs 6 rings, Kobes 81 point game to name a few. When you're watching it you know its something special. When Klay Steph and Dray are on the floor i cant shake that same feeling, all 3 are great individual talent but together they are something else. that thompson injury hurt,klay was showing who he was after kd went down,the dagger in both game 6 vs houston in the semis,and game 5 and 6 in the finals vs toronto plus the defense,klay was the one keeping them in and he was closing when everybody keyd in on steph,that was the year klay was proving himself,he was still KlayThompson even with kd on the team,say what you want,if klay plays the whole finals,hell if klay just doesnt went down game 6,steph hits that last shot and warriors comeback 3-1 vs toronto even without kd and klay gets consideration for finals mvp

Man, looking back and listening to Stephen a Smith, Skip Bayless, Max Kellerman, Colin Cowherd and all the other analysts whine and cry throughout the 2017 and 2018 seasons was hilarious. They just couldn’t stand the fact that three of the best players this game has ever seen were on the same team, and simply dominating their competition. But think about it MJ revolutionised the game for his generation , he took the game from a big man - post up - sky hook game to something a game a 6’6 footer could play by his midrange game and athleticism. Without Klay in the team, opposition team were loading up on Curry at half court, telling other players in the Warriors team in 2020/21 team to beat them. Steph really saw hell and back. Players were even taunting him even when he is dominating. Here we are 2023 with Thompson back into the mix, teams can't afford the luxury of a load up on Steph knowing that a snipper in Klay is lurking in the corner waiting to kill.... Worse is, you now add Jordan Poole who has been so groomed to be Curry 2.0... Warriors now have 2 snipers lurking to in the corner to kill... These warriors team as they are presently configured is a killer!!!

Y’all see he hasn’t won a ring since he left but we did that speaks volumes. But I’m not gonna lie 2016 and 2019 hurt the most for me. 2016 cause of the phenomenal season and we should’ve won that championship and 2019 because of injuries especially Klay when he got hurt in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals plus it was also the last time we were gonna play in the Bay so we were supposed to go out with a bang with that Championship but it’s ok everything happens for a reason.
