Klay knows he's past his prime. You can tell it bothers him. For another franchise to cash out and make him him the face, he is going to have certain expectations of him that I don't think he'd feel great about not playing up to expectations. I can see him accepting a slight pay cut to stay with Golden State
I do agree that some players might come to a point that they are no longer performing like they did before but saying that a team is losing because of that one specific player just sucks. Team now a days is all about making points and not stopping the opposing team to score, it's all about making the most threes. Basketball now a days is just "STAR PLAYER" and not star teams.
If Draymond doesn't get ejected, Wiggs become 2 way player like 2022 and Klay improved his shooting percentage i surely agree that they will able to have 1 more run for the championship, this pre-season is only the 1st season with Podz, TJD and CP3 hope their team chemistry in the court get better next season👍🏼👍🏼
It’s time to cut bait with both Klay, who is no longer elite or even close, and Dray, who has become a culture killer. Young athletic two-way guys like Kuminga are the future.
PG is the only free agent coming up but he's a great upgrade for Klay and cp3. He's by far a better 2 way player and will show up during the playoffs although not for all the games usually but most players can't anyway
@@fobinc he was just coming off a recovery year of injuries and his numbers weren't good that year but let's not ignore that Kawhi got injured after game2 as well which is just the same situation as 2021 playoffs but in reverse when PG had to carry the team to the finals because Kawhi was out after game4 of the semifinals. Let's also keep in mind that PG played 74 games this season and he sat out for 3 of the last games since they locked in their 4th seed, the 5 games where he was out was just due to soreness, he was pretty much healthy all year.
The Warriors need two skill 7 footers and one consisted shooter. Just three players, then it's showtime again... I hope, they do the right thing this time?
I like to keep klay and cp3. But they can't be paid 30-40 mill. Cp3 I think should get a contract like Westbrook. While klay should get around 10-15 mill a year. Trade Wiggins, and sign other promising potential role players. We really need bigger forwards and a center. Even players like Drummond, Thomas Bryant would be beneficial. I wouldn't mind trying to get Zach Collins or someone similar to that
Respectfully? Stop expecting/assuming the orlando magic is going to ruin their franchise by taking klay. This isn't the rob hennigan era where everyone can steal our young stars for washed players only being praised for their scoring bursts. Send klay everywhere else except orlando Because not only does our (new and better) front office NOT leak anything, we would rather pursue DJM. Overly highlighting his atrocious play-in performance then trying to upsell to orlando in the same breath?! Total thumbs down from me
