Love her! I knew she was going to be huge when I saw her on Awkwafinas show. The episode is called Grandma and chill and her character is absolutely hilarious. She steals every scene!!

Interestingly that's also the episode that was directed by the Daniels. You can also say that was where Stephanie was "discovered" since that was where they offered the role to her when Awkwafina had to drop out of EEAAO due to scheduling conflict.

For 6 months, I have been posting Steph is Hollywood's "It Girl"; only the most phenomenally talented actress earns an Oscar nod with their debut film.(Watch out Cate) In many ways, she is inheriting her cinematic mother, Michelle's legacy - fearlessly confronting the status quo in old + tired Hollywood. Totally identify with he feelings RE gardening; it is the BEST decompression therapy. (also cooking, for me.)

So damn talented. And utterly adorable. And smart. Thanks to the interviewer for using the good 'old-fashioned' word "Actress." I like that word. In the current world where people are cancelled for using 'improper' pronouns or no pronouns or what have you, I find it odd that, since gender is the topic of the moment and everyone wants to assign themselves and others to a certain category, that we would disparage a perfectly good word for assigning a gender to an acting category. I refuse to call a woman officer 'sir' or refer to my mail carrier who is a woman as a 'mailman.'

It's the _Screen Actors Guild_ , not the "Screen Actors and Actresses Guild".

_Sir_ and _mailman_ are not gender-neutral terms. _Law enforcement officer_ , _fire fighter_ , _mail carrier_ , _congress member_ , _flight attendant_ , _physician_ , _spouse_ , _director_ , and _actor_ are gender-neutral terms.

I always find these interviews almost insulting and a bit humorous, I say this only because you have an interview with an asian actor , send in the asian interviewer, you have a black actor send in the black intervewer!!!!!!!!!! its laughable to me for some reason as if a white interviewer or some other interviewer that isn't asian won't be able to comprehend the secret code or something because they're not asian LMAO

Imagine being so basic you feel inclined to compare yourself to an Oscar nominated actress for no other reason than being the same race as her. “As an Asian” like that adds legitimacy to your statement. LOL
