And I keep coming across comments that Steph's playing is 'too mechanical' and 'that she 'lacks feeling' What the hell do they want from her? You don't hear a much better interpretation than this one.

The more I see and hear of this young lady the greater my wonder at her enormous talent.But then this sort of performance requires not only talent but also stamina,persistence and the will to succeed.There is no easy way to learn,is there?Absolutely delightful.

Dear Steph: I caught your act in Sacramento at the festival last year and was very impressed, but I think I probably too quickly dismissed your ability as being narrowed down to some of the exciting, but sometimes repetitive left hand chord changes inherent in some of the boogie pieces. For whatever it's worth, however; after listening to many of your videos, (Wee Small Hours was very moving) no one could dismiss your ability and versatility in any genre. Never lose your obvious enjoyment..
