This is one of the most difficult song ever to sing. It's not difficult for the notes or the vocal range, the difficulty is all about interpretation. She did a good job.
Really surprised at the negative comments. This girl's voice is unique in that not many female vocalists can pull off the growls and guttural sounds that she's making, which gives her a really unique sound. I think everyone has been told for years what a pop star's voice "should" sound like, and if people had a mind of their own or a sense of appreciation for real artistry, they'd realize that this girl is extremely talented. I suggest looking up her studio recording of this song on RU-vid it's far superior to Miranda's version.
Stephanie is a fine singer with some nice roughness to her voice. Personally I didn't like the song or the arrangement, but she clearly has a lot of ability to make such a good job of it. I don't know what Will heard in those first moments, but that's why he's there and I'm here! I'm looking forward to more from Stephanie, and I expect she will have enough technical ability to go a long way if she gets to do some better songs.
He heard a squeeky note after a lower one, I think. Similar to Leah. I couldn't even tell if that sounded right. Actually, I felt like this the entire way through...
Perhaps you should look up Country2Country annual 3 day festival in UK, when major US country acts come over to UK and perform at major venues like the O2 arena. Country music does have a significant UK following, it's just not as significant as it is in the US, so it is in against all other pop, rock, indie, etc in the charts.
Natasha Paulino ... I know she doesn't sound like Leah... ur missing the point... let me explain it to you cuz 18 ppl got what I meant... its that uniqueness Will heard like he did with Leah... does that sound better to you...
