In the Denver series PJ Washington has done a lot of damage and in this series Aaron Gordon has and Michael Porter Jr. is due for a big game. Sitting around and talking about stars is tiring. The better analysis looks at all the players and schemes and what each player on the court needs to do, both offensively and defensively, to find ways to exploit situations and execute plays.

Towns didn't play well in game 5. Yes he got numbers on the stat sheet but he played passive. Jokic has been able to rest a lot on defense and that changes the more the Wolves get in the paint. Towns can impact that more by being in the post but instead he's content with being in the corner with KCP or Jamal covering him. Even in that game a few trips down his got KCP in the post after a dribble drive and settles for a post fade when he could just walk him down under the basket and dunk it. He had a moment where he finally got on the low block and the help defender had to come over. He was able to give a wide open pass to Rudy for the dunk. They need more of that from Kat and it will open things up for others and help Edwards as well who was pestered with double teams in game 5 after going off for almost 50 in game 4.
