The 49ners defense held Aaron Rodgers to 10 points. You have to give them major props for that even if Rodgers didn't have a record of falling short in the playoffs.
why do peolple always compare QB with wins and losses jimmy did not beat him that stingy defense did not allow him to do anything 10 points want get it
His stats aren’t good but he’s made big throws in big moments. He lead a drive to send the game to OT against LA and he got SF in FG range to win it in GB
His Arrogance got the best to him and he has another one that’s got a find it hard to compete against these young QBS because there are some good ones taking over the limelight
Jeff forgot to tell us in 2 of those nfc championship games he scored 0 in the first half.against Tampa he had a chance to tie and he couldn’t close the deal. Against Seattle defense gave him 5 turnovers and he scored 22 points
@@KRaineyy4 Brady played with a torn MCL. Rivers played an AFC Championship Game with a torn ACL. Drew Brees played with broken ribs and a torn labrum. Guys play with more severe injuries than a torn calf. Sure, their play suffers because of it but the injury wasn’t why the Packers lost. They lost because Rodgers and the offense blew a healthy 19-7 lead in the 4th Qtr. A comeback doesn’t happen unless the offense stops scoring. The Packers stopped scoring.

Very disappointing loss not to mention I saw this stat on Twitter. Rodgers is now 11-12 in the playoffs that's crazy as great as he is he owns that record.
Bad man against being 1st seed Bad man against the 49ers Bad man against the playoff I no longer want heat the AR this and that about him. He is too blame for everything
Sas you keep dogging Jimmy g but Jimmy keeps winning check out Jimmy's playoff record better then Rodgers. Bye the way Jimmy playing Rams this weekend which niners swept this season. Rodgers will be sitting at home blameing everybody but himself. Go niners
“I don’t know how your resume can get much better.” Jeff you can’t be serious lmao. How about multiple Super Bowls instead of one?? He hasn’t gotten it done. Accept it. All other quarterbacks getting the blame. Rodgers getting this smoke. Deal with it.
my point exactly he has all the hype and then we try to point blame elsewhere when they win he is the greatest of all time like they do brady when his team wins
I feel like Tom Brady’s success will make winning super bowls look a lot easier than it truly is casuals don’t understand it’s not like that at all brady is the anomaly of anomaly’s the average all time great qb will win 1-4 bowls in they career but brady has made it seem like it’s simple which is clearly not the case
@CS280 did I say he could never get it done? No I didn’t. I said he hasn’t gotten done but one time which is correct. Don’t put words in my mouth trying to discredit my valid points
@@Aman13234 you said "he hasnt gotten it done" and he already has gotten it done... im literally reading it in your post as i type lmao. Yall have let Brady make yall believe winning SBs are easy lol
Rodgers had zero touchdowns in the game. He lost because he wasn't good enough. The media will never stiop making excuses for Aaron Rodgers no matter how toxic he becomes.
Why is Molly still on the show? But yeah, ARod is the most overrated QB in NFL history. He's uber talented but he's not clutch over the course of his career. He falls flat where it counts, unlike a buy like Eli Manning who was incredible when it counted. Adam Shefter is an idiot, but we already knew that from last season when he broke the "story" of an imminent ARod trade right before the draft.
Your rite sas Rodgers was bad real bad. Stop saying he's the man he's not mahomes Brady Josh Allen all better at this point in the game. Packers choke again
It’s crazy for them to say in order to see greatness you need 2 or more rings when Keyshawn was naming QB’s and both Jeff Saturday and Stephen A were agreeing. Did they forget that the NFL world considers Dan Marino to be one of those greats? Jim Kelly? Kurt Warner? Last year they were praising Russell Wilson to be up there with a 1-1 SB record. Drew Brees. Donovan McNabb. Like the list can go on and on where anyone can argue that they don’t have to win a SB or multiple SB’s to be considered great. Aaron Rodgers and Brett Farve are considered as greats and will always be considered to be one of the greats.
You wrote silly things. Favre threw more interceptions than any QB. Rodgers unlike Dan Marino is considered the most talented QB ever and Aaron has only 1 Super Bowl win against a surging Big Ben in that particular game in which time ran out on the Steelers.
Nobody has ever put Russel Wilson in that category, Marino is a great QB but I don’t know anyone that considers him top 3, all the guys you named are also known for coming up short and only performing well in the regular season. It’s also about how many chances each of those guys had, Rodgers had 7 pro bowlers on his team when he lost to a wildcard Bucs team
Funny how you bring up that up because Tom Brady was part of a Super Bowl win when his team only scored 13 points, so quit acting like scoring 20 points isn’t enough. Tom Brady has been a part of 6 playoff wins when his team scored 20 or less points(including 2 Super Bowls). Don’t hate on Rodgers like that man.
@@jay4098 isn’t close to as great lol. It’s a TEAM sport moron. I just proved his point wrong. How is it that the Packers can’t win a game when Rodgers doesn’t put up numbers, but Brady’s team can? Sit down troll
Here's a question: if the Packers QB was Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow, do you think they could make that throw to Lazard that would have lead to a TD?
TOTALLY!!!!! Wide Open!!!!! But instead he went with the hail mary into double coverage.....He was throwing that pass before the snap.....And who tells a teammate your the best I've played with during the season? Save the Bro Mance dude! Just F' ing WIN!!!!!
"I'm not sure how much more impressive your resume would be when you have 1st ballot HOF and SB champion" UHHHH HOW ABOUT MULTIPLE SB CHAMPIONSHIPS?? You get to ride 11 years for free because of something that was done on a rookie contract lmfao
Time to move on, we've seen this show before, year after year he clams up in the big games. We moved heaven and earth to make this guy happy and he comes out and absolutely looked like a dear in headlights. Again.
@@twitterkiwi2056 oh god here come the excuses. Stop taking that fat check then. Give back a little so he can get more players. See that QB in New England and now Tampa bay? He was doing that.
@@twitterkiwi2056 he has the #1 WR in NFL... he has two RBs who can catch, he had Tonyan, he had Lazard and MVS and ESB who are all more than serviceable. Please with that he doesn't have enough weapons. That held water 5 years ago, it doesn't today.
To be fair, Tom Brady gets owned by the Saints all the time, except for that one playoff game last year. Brady got blanked by the Saints with Taysom Hill as the quarterback.
Roger's couldn't beat the Niners with the best receiver in the game and two great running backs ---Why because the nines have a great coach who knows how to play him and has a great defense who plays with heart And lay it all on the line
He’s still a top 5 quarterback of all time, I have him at #4 behind Brady, Peyton and Montana. If you think Troy aikman and terry bradshaw were better than him you are delusional.
Aikman I'd still say is better, but that's debatable- However, NO DEBATE, Bradshaw way better, 4 superbowls? THE Football Team of the 70's? Steelers in the 70's are still the standard any current Steelers team has to measure up to, and many NFL Teams period- Steelers in the 70's, 49ers in the 80's, Patriots with Brady and Belichek- THOSE are the no debate Dynasty Teams of Football, and I'm not even a Fan of any of them, it's just plain Facts
Are we jist gonna forget that he hasn't reached the bowl in 11 years? Are we gonna forget that in those 11 years he consistently isn't the same guy he is in the regular season? Its nitbjust this game, its the fact that he faced a shotty team, and didn't get over the hump again.
As the question. If your punting, what happened on offense? Think about it. The special teams is only out when you Punt or kick a FG. Both come from failing to put a TD on the board. And minus the first drive of the game. Rodgers proceeded to put his special teams unit on the field for the rest of the game every drive. He was incapable of staying on the field and dictating his own fate.
You can tell Molly is into Jimmy G and wants his Jimmy d. 🤣 She wants to dress up as Jasmine again and be on a magical carpet ride with the Niners' Prince Aladdin. Jimmy will show her a whole new world that Jalen didn't show.
Special teams dropped the ball. Literally. Without the multiple screw ups from them. Niners wouldn’t have had anything. No blocked punt returned for a TD No multiple 40+yd punt returns. No missed FG at end of half. The win and loss cant only be on him if at all this time
First he blames Mike McCarthy then he blames the Packer's GM. Question how long would Rogers last playing for the Bengal where the quarterback has no protection. Joe takes a beating week in week out.
No he doesn't. He took a beating LAST WEEK. Last week was crazy. He was sacked a record amount of times last week but on average the Bengals OL isn't that bad. They don't have a beast OL but it's not like he's getting destroyed every game.
@@deondreperkins9182 You know what, you're right lol I just checked and he WAS the most sacked QB this season. I thought it was just that Titans game but I guess it's a regular occurrence. Not sure why that is. Either they're really throw heavy (which gives the defense more chances to get sacks), or he's holding onto the ball for too long. That or the O-line simply isn't doing it's job.
I love how Molly interjects every 5-seconds and constantly speaks over people even though she's supposed to be the moderator. Makes First Take so easy to watch.....
Farve >Rodgers Farve is 4-1 against the niners in the playoff beat the defeating champ niners in 95. Then beat them again 96 won super bowl, 97 beat them again went to super bowl that year
when the packers go from being 13-3 to 3-13 when he leaves we will all have to shut tf up and realize he’s the best player in football. He has a 101 qbr in his playoff career, people have serious recency bias.
I agree 100%. Arod didn’t lose that game. Special teams did. Special teams also cost him a super bowl appearance when they played the seahawks all those years ago. Last year against brady, his coach turns into a lunatic and kicks a fg on 4th down and gives brady the ball back to end the game. It’s not all on rodgers…
2011 Divisional Round - Giants beat Green Bay 37-20 after Green Bay went 15-1 in the regular season, 2014 NFC Championship Green Bay loses to Seattle after a monumental collapse in the last 5 minutes, 2012 Divisional Round - Green Bay loses to San Francisco 45-31 when Colin Kaepernick ran for 181 yards, 2020 NFC Championship - Green Bay loses to San Francisco 37-20 in a blow out, 2021 NFC Championship - Green Bay loses to Tampa Bay when Tom Brady throws 3 interceptions in the second half and Aaron Rodgers doesn't capitalize, 2022 Divisional Round - Aaron Rodgers throws a dud and we lose again. So don't say this is recency bias. Aaron Rodgers is a choke artist in the playoffs and the Packers are better without him and his ego
Don’t bet on the Packers to win anything but individual awards. KAaron Rodgers we’re looking at you. Rodgers failure log 2009: Overthrew game winning TD in OT. Game ending fumble on next play 2013: Defense did well only allowing 23 points, Rodgers threw for an abysmal 177 yards and overall played poorly leading to defeat 2014: Packers defense holds Wilson under 50% completion, gets 5 turnovers, 5 sacks. Rodgers throws for under 200 yards and 2 picks, fails the team miserably. 2015: Packers run game was great in this game and their defense only allowed 20 in regulation. It took a miracle hail mary for Rodgers and the Packers to score 20 pts 2017: Shutout in the first half 2019: Shutout in the first half 2020: Missed wide open TD early, had to kick FG. INT set up Tampa TD before half. Down by 5 in the 4th, defense got 2 INT's, Rodgers goes 3 and out both times. Ignored rushing lane for potential game tying TD 2021 Has his best team around him since 2011. Throws 0 TD’s, runs the ball and settles for field goals. Loses in late comeback by SF.
It’s a bad loss for Rodgers. No doubt. Worst or one of the worst of his career because I think he had the better team. I don’t blame it all on him but man it’s a brick of a loss
I don't agree abt who wins the most Superbowls. Because Dan Marino has 0 an is a top 5 passer. But I do think this lost hurts Aaron Rodgers legacy. Dude had a bye week an lost at home in 2nd Rd to 9ners with just 10 points to show like he a average QB. Choked last year on that final drive in NFC CHAMPIONSHIP game against Brady also..
The guy has one super bowl in 17 seasons. Peyton got way more criticism for a similar situation. Stop making excuses for him. He hasn't done enough in the playoffs
