@@seanmurphy1218 That's pathetic Sean.. lol. Let's do a name test on who knows those people outside of their stadium. I think the Redskins were also missing the water boy and ticket stamper!! There's always missing people and the point is NYG relied on their runner and now they win, pretty handily, without
Why? she made a valid point. Daniel Jones played more than decent without having Saquon on the field. She's making an argument for why he should get extra consideration for how well, relatively speaking, he played without a stud like Saquon. Do you just not like women making intelligent points?
Akinola Emmanuel nah you just don’t watch the show enough. Nobody is being sexist, it’s actually due to her trying to garner attention with very minimally related points to the discussion just so she can have something to input. Upon receiving her input, the rest of the table usually continues their conversation, disregarding her point, which in this case was saquon not playing (which if you follow football it’s OBVIOUS and doesn’t need to be stated nonetheless preposterously belted out twice in an interruptive manner.) So, no she was not making an intelligent point.
Victor Petrescu no it isn’t. This is their JOB! I took 2 hours out my day to watch film on the top 5 QBs and had more accurate insight on the QBs then they did. THAT IS A PROBLEM!
@@jaccpot plus marvin had andy dalton you talking about the epitome of mediocrity and it seems as if Gruden is trying to sabotage haskins going back to pre season and the plays that wre called for him
Stephen A. didn't say that he said Haskins has the ability to move but he's a good pocket passer who was set up by coach Gruden who refused to prepare the rookie Haskins. This is what he meant. You need to get it right. Haskins deserves a fair chance that means being prepared. Gruden is trash to make a long story short. That is the overall point Stephen A. Smith made.
@@brandoracks4050 You're right, though i was referring to when he got his season ending injury with the Redskins. Seems like Washington loves getting their QBs seriously injured.
You act like Danny Jones won't be killed by The Pats when he plays them. Daniel Jones isn't all that if he let The Washington Redskins Defense pick him off twice.
DJ best offensive weapon that game was Wayne gallman jr......NO EXCUSES, NONE lol. But if you're willing to agree that it's better to access these QBS after this season, then they would be something we all should agree with
makesknowsense I don’t watch College Football but from what I have seen so far from him I don’t see first round talent anywhere with him he looks like another Byron Leftwitch Daniel Snyder doesn’t care he only drafted him to sale tickets and Redskins paraphernalia Montez Sweat does not look that impressive either I don’t even think he even had any Quarterback Pressures or not even any tackles.
John Davis He should’ve. He benefited from playing in a school that will never see a fall off season. All world track runners that masqueraded as wide receivers made him look that good. Ohio state isn’t known for QBs. I like him without a doubt. But he is one injury away from being Jamarcus Russell all over again.
SDS Overfiend if he really does not pan out to be any good the skins are in deep trouble and will be setback for years to come Snyder does not care though I don’t see anything special about him though so far or Sweat.
Haskins hadn't even practiced with the first team yet, we were missing our 2 best o linemen and our best wr was out the game, as well as our best tight end. And Gruden still threw him in. He needs to be fired immediately
@@azma775 Ok we do not. This is not 2018. Giants O-line is much improved. They were rank top 5 after 2 games with Eli. I don't know where they rank now.
Nobody: Molly: “They didn’t have Saquon.” “They also didn’t have Saquon.” Remember when she was gone? Show seemed so much better. No wonder she gets passed from network to network and show to show.
@@chrisakokoh9118 Haskins started 1 game in the preseason ... there was no QB competition with the Redskins .... Gruden is a lazy coach hiding behind veteran players .... coaching like that will get you fired.
Jones has a better coach & situation. His coach has been preparing him since April. The NYG is the better organization than the Deadskins. Jones also has Eli helping him read NFL defenses. Who's helping Haskins who was better in college? If college doesn't count why do NFL team hire scouting staffs? Jones isn't better than Mayfield or Murray either, its early. Its not how a player starts its how they finish. Jones is the right fit for NYG.
Now Stephen A Smith saying I didn’t know about Daniel Jones 😂😂😂 then why were u acting like it was such a bad pick. All these analysts just perform group think where one person says something then all the analysts repeat it and then they talk about the narrative around a player that they just created. It’s an endless cycle
Because he was rated as a second round talent and was picked 6th overall by a team that had two first round picks when josh Allen the 2nd highest rated edge rusher was on the board
Stephen A. Smith has/had every right to question Daniel Jones based on his body of work at Duke. That is the measure by which all athletes especially rookies are judged. So just shut it. Jones looked terrible at Duke analysts & commentators were not out of line to question Daniel Jones as a pick. The fact that he fits into the NYG offense, now doesn't matter.
@@ctruth6185 Daniel Jones threw to nobodies at Duke. Dwayne Haskins threw to super talent that was leagues better than their competition and let them do the leg work to get him yards. To compare the numbers is asinine.
@@twodogs5395 right jasking was playing for a good school Ohio State had too many talent wr with track speed which made it easy for Haskins Jones played for Duke Duke wasn't a good team but Giants made the right decision Jones prove he's better than Haskins
Everyone laughed at Daniel Jones and I was one of the few Giants fans who thought this kid was going to be outstanding. Dude is going to have a great career.
He looks good now but I'll hold my judgement until at least week 10 and see what his stats and record looks like bc right now he really hasn't played any real defense yet
so, you were so sure Daniel Jones was a "second day guy".....questioned the front office as if you know how to scout better than them, called everyone scrubs for even thinking about drafting him.....and you never watched him play because you "don't go around watching duke football".....??? you lose all credibility on these subjects. And he has played 2 games lets calm down. and the redskins make everyone look like Tom Brady so let's just stop it! (Stephen A. voice)
No matter who starts Washington is going to get slaughtered. Why even mention Haskins as if somehow Case Keenum is going to the lead the Redskins to even beat the spread. Get real kid.
Why not? Before this game the giants defense gave up an average of 31 points, instead, they only scored 3. You would expect something, but he will continue to get better just like DJ. they're rookies and they need time
Ive noticed how fast people are to down and criticise black qbs smh if there not extra elite right away, its" oh yeah, hes another jamarcus russell" smh
They are legit both defending themselves by saying "I didn't watch him at Duke, I was told that...". Anyone who actually watched the games could see that he had a chance to be a really good qb in the NFL
It’s nothing wrong to pick the guy you think is the future of your franchise higher than those “experts” predict he would go, but being smart about it is even better. If the Giants knew that the Redskins would have picked DJ as their QB with their 15th pick, than the Giants could have moved down on the draft to the 13th or 14th pick and get something else in return.
Danny is by far the best QB in hai draft . What people fail to realize in Danny 3 years Duke he only played with 1 NFL talent smh . Dude was playing with a bunch scrubs still putting up stats . Anybody that play sports at a high level knows it's you play better with better teammates
FINALLY someone said it. Haskins didn't have the reps. The timing was an issue for him while DJ had first stringers in the PRE-season. And one had 3 picks, the other had 2. The score was vastly different. The Redskins are bad all over the team
DH threw a pick 6, DJ had a RB fumble at the red zone, yes DH threw only one less TD but only brought the team to 3 points against a giants team who previously averaged giving up 31 points.....somethings go to give, no pun intended
Haskins got use to his team being so much better than everyone in college. Daniel Jones came from Duke. His team was always outmatched. It's easy to play qb when your whole team is good, and outmatches every team you play athleticly. The truth of how good you really are shows up in the NFL. It's more of an even playing field.
On draft day when the Giants had 6 I told everyone at the bar it’s Duke QB Daniel Jones, why? The Giants organization thinks he’s gonna be the next big thing and he does really look good. I told everyone that this kid is gonna be special for sure. Boy was I right so far. He looked amazing at the Duke combine.
I’m a Steelers fan but my youngest son is a diehard Giants fan, he was upset that they reached for Jones and I told him they must of had to because two teams would have taken him before he got back to them. I also watched film on him with my son after the draft and told him to be happy, they absolutely drafted the best quarterback in the draft you could see all the uncoachable intangibles. Haskins might be a half decent quarterback but again watch tape on him , his ceiling is low and his intangibles are marginal at best.
Minshew didn't have that problem and he's a 6th round rookie. I guess Haskins was more of a late round prospect and the analysts were completely wrong that he had the makings of a great QB.
@@kalel33 None of that means he’s automatically a draft bust. Many QBs have needed time to develop. It took some time for Brees to truly develop into a star, and Aaron Rodgers sat behind Brett Farve before taking a snap. Haskins is clearly talented but he'll need some time to bring it out. Nothing good came from throwing him to the wolves.
Stephen A was right about Haskins not being prepared for yesterday's game. However, Baker Mayfield was not prepared last year either when he had to come in for the Jets game and won.
Remember Max's uproar about Daniel Jones being drafted before Haskins... That aged well... Weird how NFL executives know what they're doing, even though the talking head media says they don't
I don't think they are going to be able to draft Jeudy anymore. They might win too many games this season and their pick might be to low to select him. I think they should go pass rusher round 1. They might not get chase young but I think they might have a chance at selecting AJ Epenesa or if they decide to get a wr they could select Laviska Shenault
I actually got so used to SAS ranting about Marvin Lewis needing to get fired, that when he actually was outta Cincinnati I was surprised 😂😂😂💀💀💀 and oh yeah JAY GRUDEN’S GOT TO GO!!!
Ohio State always produces high level running backs and wide receivers which of course always make the quarterback and their stats look real good. Never draft a Buckeye QB until at least the 4th round or later. That includes Justin Fields as well.
I swear he was just saying they should start Haskins the other day. "They got nothing left to lose. Start the rookie." and now he's saying they made a mistake. Bruh what?
dontbeshady411 he didn’t start though they just threw him in there. On top of that he hasn’t practiced with the 1st string yet so his chemistry with them is not on point yet. Seems like Gruden is setting up another QB for failure.
Incredible that they're making all these excuses for Haskins. If the roles had been reversed, if Jones had come into a game looking like this, they would have absolutely destroyed that kid.
