I’ve been watching nba since 2002, never in my life have I seen such an amazing season from a player, definitely in contention for the greatest single season ever
Man he's just scary when he gets hot from 3. He probably would have gotten 60+ points loads of times if he didn't sit out the 4th quarter most games lol
A back to back MVP First ever unanimous MVP Averages 30 through the year Best shooter ever Loses a game 7 in the nba finals where he averaged over 20 for the series and he's "overrated" after 1 finals loss What does that make Lebron who has 4 losses one time was swept and in 2014 got the all time embarrassing asswhooping in a nba finals we ever seen
+Sean Legghette did you watch the 2014 finals 😑 That was embarrassing they got waxed, beat down, whooped, whipped, bum rushed, beat em like they stole something
Stephen curry going to be a beast next year. just wait. most of his shots from now on are going to be half court and full court. he will be getting 2017 finals MVP and regular season MVP.
Naw its pretty much impossible to win an MVP on golden state now that curry has to share the ball with yet another star on the team. More than anything Russel Westbrook is guaranteed an MVP but golden state for sure are gonna win unless Chemistry problems start to kick in considering that they just traded away most of their team for one player
I hope next year with Thompeon out, and a lack of depth we see this curry one more time before his prime is up. This was the greatest season I have ever seen by an individual player and he could have had better stats had he been allowed to play 4 qts of basketball, people forget that Kerr used to pull him out of games after the 3rd qt.
+mytime1273 1273 yup, as a die hard Clipper fan I hate the Warriors and Curry and for me it was hilarious to watch how the 'best player in the league' completely chocked in the Finals
The Secret to currys success the is out lord a savour Jesus Christ (God) trust me. Be good to the lord and you won't believe the favour he returns to you
God is so over rated...btw this is not a holier than thou contest....Curry has natural skills coupled with perseverance....give the credit where the credit is due...
So what he choked in the finals it doesn't take away from the fact that he had the most amazing season I have ever seen I mean for Christ sake the man hit 402 3s that is unheard of curry is still my favorite player and you can bet your asses we will win the finals next year
Everyone is different from one another. So, comparing Stephen Curry to other NBA legends or players is futile. Just accept the fact that your favorite player won't dominate the NBA forever. There's always somebody who can do the same thing or better than it.
I'm sorry to say but Kevin durant is the most Lethal offensive player in the game. You realise KD scored at least 20 points in all but one game last season (he got injured that game). He can do it all. He's the definition of UNGUARDABLE
M VIS Thank you every time I comment people say it’s Ray Allen but Curry carried his to to an NBA Finals Championship and did so much more and people only know Ray Allen for the shot he made in the Finals against the Spurs.
It absolutely was. Name a player who had a more efficient shooting season than this man with the amount of shots he took. There's a reason he's the only unanimous MVP ever. This was the single greatest individual season of all time.
@@macxavier168 wht ? do you know hakeem olajuwon won mvp dpoy nba champion and finals mvp in just same year 1994 he average 27p 13r 4a 2.1s 4.1b with 56% he average 32p with 13r and 4.7b during playoff edit :you fanboys makes me so mad steph is a goat shooter nothing else special
That's great. S/o to The Dream for a great season. But it wasn't as efficient as Steph's season. How do I know? Look up Hakeem's PER (if they tracked that stat back then) and compare it to Steph's. Wanna bet it doesn't match up? And that's with better competition (anyone who says otherwise is simply nonsensical; NBA players are bigger, stronger, and faster than they were back then). Again, no disrespect to one of the greatest players ever. But c'mon, man. And "nothing else special"?? This guy CHANGED THE GAME, dude. The entire landscape of the league is different, mostly thanks to the Warriors offense, which is led by whom, by the way? Ah, yes. Wardell Stephen Curry III. -a Lakers fan (for those who would dare to accuse me of bandwagoning)
Mac Xavier the rules changed the game. When they took out handchecking, who won the MVP the very next season? Nash. That forced the game to change into a speed game to advantage of that. The NBA said it themselves they wanted more scoring so they made it happened. That opened up the door for people like Curry. The game switched from post to spread the floor out which also makes it easier to drive. Hard fouls became technical fouls. That soften up the league real good. I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing. Players dont get injured like they did and last longer. I’m not blaming the players. It wasn’t their choice but if you think any player today would be as efficient as they are now if they switched the rules back, you’re kidding yourself. What would happen is the game would slow down and revert back into big men and posting. Lanes would be clogged up again, small guards like Curry wouldn’t go insides as much and if they did they would get hammered. So the smart thing would be inside outside. That’s the kind of effect rule changes do.
