@@vockeiawright2070 It is the King and Great Stephen Frances, Keep the Jamaican anthem alive at world Championship and Olympic, along with the Medals coming in, As for Glen Mills, He might have a lot of names under His belt without much progress, But the Great Stephen Frances keep Jamaica alive on the Global seen in terms of the sport, while Glen Mills seems to fall asleep on the Job, Consistency is very important as well
For me there is no need to select a winner because they are both winners in my eyes. Both are phenomenal coaches who have achieved outstanding results with the athletes they have trained over the years. Both have global recognition because of the calibre of athletes they have been able to produce, many becoming dominant world beaters at the various championships. I am just grateful for the services they have provided for our talented athletes who swell my heart with pride every time they hit the global stage with mind blowing performances. May they long continue to do the great job they have been doing over all these years.
I'm definitely going with Sir Glen Mills ...Fastest man alive over 100m and 200m along with the world record, Second Fastest man alive in the same event world championship over the 400m that title jamaica had never won over 39 years and not only that he get along with his athletes very well that's a big props 👍there are to many athletes that left Frano with a lots of discomfort issues that he couldn't find the urge to work it out with them that's a 🚩red flag athletes should be comfortable with there coaches that is a part of the training process..
Not a situation where you can actually say who is the better coach. One would have to be an athlete of both coaches to make that decision. MVP has more athletes but I don't think he trains all of them personally. Two people that can't be compared with each other. Both are excellent coaches.
that's very simple i would say they both are as good they are equal if judging by performances however it may differs as to who gets the most talented athletes to work with but stephen has taken athletes from scratch to pro but both are equal to me in all aspect and yes both are needed in the sport i even believe they should be in charge of the JAAA based on their level of expertise and contribution to the sports
This is a very hard question to answer. Both are very good. However, I would want to lean with Stephen Francis. The reason for my pick is the simple fact that he takes athletes who had no name in track and field and made them into world beaters, couple with the fact that it is not only track but he does it with jumpers also.
Coach you said be objective but the way the question is phrased is subjective. There is no way for the fan or even an athlete who hasn’t been a part of both coaches’ systems to know who is better. The question is which coach has gotten better results which is a more objective way of framing the question. We can look at the outcome and say that goes to Stephen Francis. I say this as someone who is not a fan of SF and prefers Glen Mills.
The first athletes frano coach was poultry francis his brother,Steven is actually a student of ms mills when he started out, mills guided him alot,he actually got the genius name in college by being super smart,he was recruited by numerous company on wall street but turn them down, mills with the most dominant period in male sprinting history to produce the fastest and second fastest in 100m and 200m of all time,from 2008 to 2016 he won every 100 and 200 meter olympics and wc including a triple and he also took multiple medals,frano won medals in every diceplin he dominate four olympics in a row multiple medals world championship 100m and multiple 200m 400m 400mh,100m 100mh jumps and throws ,shelly,elaine,Jackson,asafa, frano is better overall coach by a distance
Mills is more experienced but I personally think Francis is a better coach ! Both men are very talented coaches with different styles of coaching but I would give Francis the nod!

One of the toughest questions to answer as both coaches have done so well, however, although Francis has the quantity in consistency and medals, Mills has produced the 2 fastest men in History to ever run the 100m and 200m. As such it’s not so clear cut! Will give it to Mills though.
That's your pick , but your pick is only based on that he got the two fastest men but remember Stephen got the farmer world record holder the first jamaican man to ever do it over properly any distance at the time . Glen Mills has produced the two fastest men in history over the 100 and 200, plus all 3 of the fastest Jamaican over 200m are from his club. Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake, and Warren Weir. He led all 3 of these men to clean sweep at London 2012. Which is argubly the greatest moment in Jamaica's track and field history. He's the first and only coach in history to have achieved a clean sweep at either the Olympics or World championship. And recently, he coached Bob to be the first Jamaican in 40 years to win a world title in 400. Spectacular achievements by this man, he's a legend. He created so much history for Jamaica. Best coach in the world 💯💯

I said he's the first and only coach to achieved clean sweep at EITHER the Olympics OR World championship. To answer your other question, Stephen Francis never have a clean sweep. When Jamaica achieved clean sweep in women's 100m at Tokyo Olympics, at that time Shelly was being tutored by Reynaldo Walcott, not Stephen Francis.

Look Stephen is the greatest he uses science to back his thing. The other coaches coach like they cook- no recipe so they can't build on results. Stephen chose the women because Jamaican women are more driven, discipline and determined and that makes them teachable so they do well and that's better for MVP cause they run a business not an emotional nonsense camp. While the others it's just chaos cause there is no discipline
The Great Stephen Frances is the best Coach of them both by far, and possible Globally, in terms of sprinting He also have a clean sweep into the 2021Olympic 100m, In men and women, Stephen Frances is more of a grass root coach, taking no name Athlete and turning them into super star and record breakers, As for Glen Mills, His best work that i know of is Bolt and Blake, and we can agree that those two athlete were record breakers while in high school, So it is possible that Glen mills just polished them into global superstars, As far world championship and Olympics, within Bolt and Blake era aside, the Great Stephen Frances coach Athlete take home most of the medals in those events since then, to this point, So as you can see, Stephen Frances track record speak volume when it come's to which one of the two are more outstanding
