Ever though of a big break style inviting non snooker related RU-vidrs to have a go at the tough table challenge? 😉 What I mean by other RU-vidrs is me? 😂 Love the content 👍
It’s a good point. BFL has been at it a long time, with an engaging, unique style. Stephen does great stuff, but could learn more about production and flow. Stephen also played some of the best snooker I’ve seen him playing in a while!
Yeah you can tell he was really really nervous hahaha. Defo been there before. It’s all good though, it was such a cool video just to have the two of them together. Looking forward to the CueTips one, hopefully see them playing a frame/frames.
Fantastic moment. Born in 92 the idea that one day Stephen would have a RU-vid channel was beyond compression. Already followed Break from Life and now this long awaited collaboration. Such a monumentally surreal moment for me, can’t imagine what it was like for you! Well done sir and congratulations 😊
I watched this with a massive grin on my face 😊 I could hear in your voice that you were beyond thrilled to be making this video with Stephen. Congratulations on a great channel mate. Can't wait to watch the Cue Tips vid!! 🍿😊
My father was a Scot and he loved watching Stephen Hendry play. I watched these recreations, still fascinated by Stephen's skill and love for the game. Thanks to you both for another amazing insight into the cerebral side of snooker 👍
For a long while I believe you have earned a place on Stephen's channel and I bet it was a dream come true. And it's all down to your hard work and dedication, well done.
When I was 11 years old, living in Dunfermline in Scotland one Saturday my Dad took me to a local club for my first ever game on a full size table. As we walked in my Dad had noticed someone playing on the table next to the one we were heading for. He told me not to pay any attention to the lad playing on that table as he was 3 years older than me and in my Dad's words "was a bit good!" Turned out that kid was STEPHEN practicing with his Dad! Probably the biggest understatement my Dad ever made lol.
I love the nerves in your voice compared to your normal style, this must have been amazing for you! Great video, hope you find an excuse to do some more together some time.
This was class lads two of the best content creators on RU-vid and doing so much for Snooker. Great to see the mindset of Stephen Hendry in these ridiculous shots incredible mentality in his prime. Totally deserved the meet up with him mate, We want more!
I'm a bigger Stephen Hendry now than I ever was, legend of the game and a top bloke. Looking forward to seeing you on Cuetips lad, what a treat this collab must have been for you! Well done.
Man how are you not pro, your level of historical snooker Is unbelievable. Even stephen was lost when you described shots he took back in his day Man you're an absolute legend
Credit to you for this and the work and passion you have for snooker. It was only a matter of time before a legend from the game picked up on what you were doing! Well done mate
You've done such an amazing job of building such a fantastic RU-vid snooker channel with such a beautifully simple concept, this is the reward you absolutely deserve. Well done!! 👏
This episode genuinely made me smile, fair play to you mate. Been a sub for a long time and it's nice to see how far you've come. I'm going to dust the cue off and go for a game
Looking forward to the full video. Total honour to be invited on by Stephen. And wow he passed all your tests with flying colours. Why does Stephen struggle on the pro circuit now. Being a good player yourself what impressed you the most about Stephens game?
Always watch your vids and Stephens Cue Tips so to see you both together on his show is fab. Must have been a huge honour! Bet you we're nervous. 😁 Nice one.
Amazing. Long time subscriber, I noticed Stephen seemed to copy some of your videos (HatCamTM?) in the early days, but have loved watching both channels. This is the collab we needed!
Great video, really looking forward to tomorrow to maybe find a bit more about you and your snooker and youtube journey. You kept it together really well even though it looked like at times you almost couldn't believe Stephen was really there helping you with a video!
Happy for you, what a joy to be playing snooker with one of the legends of the game. I respect Hendry a lot but Davis was my favourite player of all time. Both were dominant in their respective eras but I feel peak Davis beats peaks Hendry because of Davis superior tactical and safety game. Many years ago I used to play for my local snooker club and the highest break I ever made was a respectful 52. I have since moved to Georgia, USA but its hard to find a snooker table around here. Keep up the good work on the channel, your inputs and advice about the game are informative for anyone looking to get started. I'd appreciate a shoutout on a future video, I'm James and I live in Sharpsburg just south of Atlanta.
It's not like you haven't put the work in. There are lots of coaching channels and that's fantastic if you want to get better at the game, but until Cue Tips came along you were pretty much the only one making peripheral videos about snooker that keep the average fan interested all year long even if they're just viewers and not players. A good mix of information and entertainment isn't easy to maintain, but you've clearly done that.
I'm so pleased for you that you got to do this. Stephen and you share in common your desire to grow the game and produce good snooker content for people to watch. Although he may have the higher profile, I think this channel deserves serious plaudits, as for an almost unknown guy, to generate quality content over many years, watched by thousands is quite some achievement. So hats off to you sir. And kudos to Stephen for recognising the hard work and dedication of a fan.
Amazing. I'm so happy this happened and I'm really looking forward to the video on Cue Tips too. I see someone else saying that this is a collaboration between the two best snooker channels on RU-vid, and I could not agree more. Your content is genuinely excellent.
Liverpool victoria charity shield 1990 or 92 - Final against Ronnie 9-9 race to 10, the opening red was pure class. my fave Hendry shot. Goes on to make a 147 for the win
Fantastic video, I’m over the moon for you that you got this opportunity and took it - well done! I wonder if any other current or past pros would join you to recreate their best shots some day? That’d be an interesting series of videos! Maybe Stephen has some contacts 😉
