In a depressed town a mysterious entity only known as Pennywise helps various troubled citizens. He befriends a group of young kids and teaches them about friendship, love, and to believe.

so good when Bill looks and smiles at Pennywise at the end.

Honestly, this seems like a decent plot for a movie. In a town of despair, where the kids have grown up and forgotten what joy feels like, the clown from their childhood reminds them how to laugh. Who knows? Maybe it would help people get over their fear of clowns?

Daw that's a sweet story. An old, possibly imaginary, friend from your childhood returning to you in a time of middle-aged melancholy to remind you of the all the beauty and magic in the world.

2:25 is, hands down, the best part of the trailer. That look Richard Thomas and Pennywise give each other....

The taxi scene so should have been in there Driver: "What's in Maine? Family?" Beverly: "Friends. The best I ever had." It would have been perfect!

I remember the adorable scene when Pennywise magically restored little Georgie's arm. Heartwarming.

I'm still trying to find a victim I can show this and confuse them into thinking this trailer is legit, so they'll watch the movie under false impressions!

Story: Bill's brother Georgie loses his paper boat to the sewers. Pennywise, a new hero clown comes up, rescuing his boat and giving it to him. Georgie accepts it, then Pennywise leaves to go help some other kids. Many years later, Georgie's brother Bill finally encounters the amazing clown. They become friends, then soon, when the hero clown is about to die, because he's really old, Pennywise gives his clown costume and powers to Bill, so that he can keep the magic going. The end. And that's the story of IT, if it was a family film!

Perfect example on how the marketing department could change how the movie could be viewed.

This gave me goosebumps like I was about to watch Forrest Gump or something.

Thunderous Applause to the sheer genius behind this! What an awesome way to turn a brilliant horror movie into a "Heart Warming Family Film" I LOVE THIS!! Well Done!!

I haven't seen the movie and it's hard to picture it as a horror movie after seeing this

This recut preview has inspired me... to make Child's Play look like a movie about childhood innocence, and a boy's desire to have a friend nearby. Watch the preview "Shining". That is what started all this film editing, making horror movies look like family classics.

Penny Wise is the helpful hero we need in these tough times!!!!

I love how this video was made!! Whoever made it has a very clever mind, because it makes the movie IT seem more like a kids movie rather than a horror one! It also makes the clown seem like a good guy instead of the villain! Great job!!

Wow, I don't know what to say. This was brilliant. One of the best Recut Trailers I've ever seen. In some kind of way I like Pennywise in this trailer. I mean, I also like him as a bad guy, he's a real classic, pure evil...but in this trailer, he's like the last hope of children and adults...and then the music....that all fit perfectly. Watching this makes me smile.

Hands down, this is a masterpiece!
